So I had a critter chew up some wiring and it’s been a nightmare trying to get a suitable replacement. The wiring goes to my map sensor and the colors don’t match up. I’m texting to figure out which wires to splice together. The first pic is what remains in the truck. Second pick is the attachment I got from a scrap yard today.

note that there are four wires on the new attachment and only three on the existing wiring.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think this image is as you are looking into the connector from the side with no wires. With the latch switch upward, and looking into the connector, I believe that means Pin#1 Black Pin#2 Black Pin#3 Yellow Pin #4 White/Black on your junkyard connecter. If you can tell me what year and engine of the truck you cut that from I can look it up. Also where you cut if off the harness.

All the diagrams (below) show the Intake Manifold Vacuum Sensor to be Blue/Red, Brown, Blue. I think the one you have is a different connecter of the same style. Hence why the wiring is a different color and has a 4th wire.

Pin #1 Blue Red Stripe PIM
    Pin #2 Brown E2
    Pin #3 Blue VC

Jeff thank you so much man. I’ve been playing with it and I got it to work.

One of the blacks were extra (it came from a Prius and I imagine it has something to do with its batteries). Yellow to brown was constant power. White/ black to blue was the neutral, and one of the blacks went to the blue red.
