Guys, I am new to the board and was looking for some help. I just purchased a 2005 Tundra 4x4 access Cab V8 and found a plug unhooked under the hood. This plug has a purple wire and a white w/ black stripe wire coming to it from the main harness. This main harness enters the cab near the brake booster on the driver side if the firewall. The other plug bundled with it goes to the master cylinder to give fluid level feedback. I was hoping someone could tell me where it goes or snap a couple of pics for me.

    Thanks for the help

It doesn't connect to anything. Same plug on my truck but its capped off. Probably a diagnostic port or accessory or something.

The plug (purple wire & white wire with black stripe) was dangling loose but had the mating plug connected. The red and black wire from the mating plug were cut so I heat shrunk each then shrunk them together.

That master cylinder looks pretty new. I wonder if they took a different one and mounted up and they didn’t have the same plug? I know various years of the first generation have different master cylinder types and weird looking hook ups. Just throwing it out there.

It's likely for the stability control that was optional. Or like @15whtrd said the master has been replaced with the non vsc version which is nearly impossible to find for a reasonable price and they just terminated the connector.

Everything under the hood looks fairly new.
I downloaded the electric schematic for the truck and those wire colors reference a buzzer of some sort.

I think the wire colors references a tvip buzzer. Was hoping someone had a 05' SR5 V8 access cab they could take a pic of that corner.

You have a couple clues here that support what others have said about a replacement booster/MC: the wires for the fluid level look rigged; the loose wires are not an unused factory option because they would not have the mating plug, only a cap at best.
Edit: also the plastic wrap ties are a dead giveaway that it's not an unused factory option. That would be "break-away tape". The kind that can easily be pulled loose by factory workers when that option is present. They can't break zip ties by pulling on them.

Also, is that connection in the lower part of the pic the same style connector? Looks like it.

Looks like someone put a different spec booster/MC on it.

The booster is original, the brake line fittings and master cylinder nuts have not been tampered with. The wiring has been repaired by me. I believe someone was trying to cut the wires to the TVIP Buzzer and accidentally cut one of the master cylinder float sensor wires. I repaired the float sensor wires but there was a plug with its mating plug still attached. The mating plug had cut red and black wire. I found a picture on this site of what it is. See attached. Now I know why my truck doesn't chirp when I lock/unlock the doors. I need to know where to get one.
