So my window is auto down in my Trd...but not auto up...i see that platinums have auto up and down....so being that i have been in the Autobody trade for 3 decades, i would think that if you replaced the TRD master switch on the drivers door with a Platinum master switch it would make it Auto up AND down...anyone have any input ????

You'll usually need to program the computer as well as add the switch. I wish I had rear auto up and down windows

Interesting... I have a '21 Limited and it is auto down only. @2020Platinum has a video on installing an aftermarket unit for the auto up/down.

I've also wondered why all vehicles don't have this feature.

My wife's 4runner has it, but my truck doesn't.

It's an Autoloc module that you splice in. I did it on my 2020 a couple of months ago. I used @2020Platinum video. The wiring colors are different between the trim levels.

What didn't work? You have to install one on each window.

I have it and it works great. Install is easy. Worst part is fishing the power wire from the door to the engine bay.

The one touch up and down is nice but rolling windows up and down from the remote is even better.

    Installation is very simple.
Pop the door panel off plug in the harnesses run the power wire through the door look to the drivers kick panel. Then run the power wire through the grommet right there in the firewall. Connect it to the battery positive and you are done.

Thanks for the share Chuck!...if I can answer any questions for anyone shoot me a message, this worked perfectly on my 2020 Platinum, awesome having it on the rear Crewmax window as well...as you can see on my video, it’s an easy install

I watched that video before I got my 3WLiners module.
That works but you have multiple modules and have to splice wires and take off multiple door panels.
The 3W just pop off the drivers door panel plug in the module and run a power wire to the battery and you are done. No cutting or splicing. You also get control of the windows with your remote.

3Wliners only downfall is it does nothing for the CrewMax back glass unfortunately.
I’ll likely add the module in this video to the rear eventually.

I love my 2017 sr5 but scratch my my head on some options it doesn't have. like auto up/down. auto headlights, non locking tailgate with remote and digital reading on tpms sensors. still don't know what tire may be low. my sons 2010 ford escape has all that

Thankfully there is a simple solution to all of those except the auto headlights.

What would you do for the tpms readings? I used to love the digital numbers on my last truck when I aired down. Or just if one is losing air I know which one and how much is in it. Yeah simple fixes but really should have been factory

Things that make you want to punch someone at Toyota in the head...

This is really my only bitch about the Tundra. Our 7 year old 4Runner has this, but it can't be included on a new Tundra?

I use the OBDLink app with an OBDLink MX+.
Any OBD reader with a decent app or even scan gauge will give you the display.
If you want to upgrade your head unit lots of after market units will give you the read out as well now.

Ford does the same with their lower end models.
I had a 2016 Expedition EL XLT it was always sending the info but Ford gave no options to display it except in the higher trim models.

I used the OBDLink stuff on it as well.

Where did y'all buy it from?
Only one I see on the website is the low module and that only makes them go down and not up, right?
Don't I need the 'high tundra'?

Toyota Tundra Window Control Module (low) for driver side window only going down automatically – 3W Liners

    Ok, I understand now..
    I'm going to order one.

Hopefully it will all work the same locking and unlocking widows up/down with my aftermarket RS/alarm.
    I think it will.

What's one more wire to the battery thru the firewall?
Won't be the first, or second, or third time I've done it....

Thank you for the prompt response...

That's odd. I wonder if it's a package thing. I have a '21 Limited and I have both auto up and down on the driver and passenger sides.
