I know some people were reporting problems with lifts/leveling and their TSS early on. Is this still an issue?

By my scientific calculations (tape measure in a pouring rain) my front end is almost exactly two inches lower than the rear. I don't plan to touch the rear, but am considering either a Tuff Country leveling kit (not Rough Country) or Bilstein 5100's in the front. Quotes have been ridiculous for the Bilsteins (best was $840.00 installed) and the shops I've called won't allow "carry-ins", so I'm leaning toward the Tuff Country billet aluminum kit.

I'm running 275/65/R18 BFG KO2's on TRD Off Road wheels and don't plan to change that.

Some have had issues and some have not had issues with their TSS when leveling or lifting their trucks.

From what I have seen the ones who had issues are a small minority. Almost all 2018+ lifted or leveled trucks have reported no issues. I have a 3/1.5 which is exactly level within 1/4" on all 4 corners, average about 1/8", and I have not had any issues in the 20,000 miles since the level/lift.

Maintaining some rake seems to be the generally accepted way, I have had no issues in 2 years lifted 3/1.5

no rake. 2.5" front coilover lift and 275/70/18. TSS works fine for me.

Go with Bilstein instead of the spacer lift. Any decent mechanic can swap out shocks, don’t limit your search to off-road style shops as they tend to charge more anyway.

That price is crazy for the Bils... a few hundred bucks for labor and no more than 250 for the parts is puts you around 550. I would shop it around for a better price.

true... 550-600 installed for 5100s all around would be a lot more reasonable, add another $80 or so for a good alignment (not firestone unless you have a good one locally)

Right, wrong or indifferent, I went with the Tuff Country billet aluminum 2" leveling kit installed by Les Schwab. The kit includes a differential drop and turned out great, IMO.

Just under $400.00 with an alignment.

    Still rolling stock baby....
My 2019 had issues with TSS after the OME 612 was installed. Dealer got it all taken care of a few days later, no issues since.

30 miles on I-5 today using adaptive cruise control and then running errands around town and absolutely no issues with TSS post leveling.

This isn’t really an issue anymore it seems. I’ve had no problems with mine since day one. Stock and lifted. My dealership even did all the updates and everything with no issues. Glad it’s working out.

After speaking with @Coachbuilder1 about my 6112 at 1.9 he stated that since I tow a boat that I would need a rake to keep the TSS happy when towing or have a load in the bed. Level it and don't do anything to the rear I believe you may see TSS issues once you tow or add weight to the rear. FWIW I have all TSS stuff turned off except for BSM and RCTA. I also have not installed my suspension 6112/5160 because I think I need to get a rear shackle and also trying to decide on tire size with factory OR wheels.
