Hi all, so I acquired another 42" Diode Dynamics light bar. I already have one installed in the lower bumper grill. I know most of the light bars people are installing in the hood bulge are 40" but has anyone installed a 42" light bar in the hood bulge instead? If so what brackets did you use?

Thanks in advance. Worst case, I may just install it behind the grill.

If I recall, the Nilight 41 inch is the max that will fit. You could always remove the bulge and try it.

Did this work for you? I scored a killer deal on a 42” DD lightbar and was wondering the same thing. I can use it on my 1st gen Tacoma, but would rather stick it in my Tundra

A 42 will not fit in there.
