I am about to get a 4 in lift kit installed on my 2013 tundra. I was wondering if 35x 12.50 Tires would fit. I currently have 275/70R18 in my truck.

@ToyTec Lifts is a great option IMO. Depending on the offset 35s will rub at full turn. I have 35x12.5x18 and I had to cut the cab mount and remove the front liner. I'm running +18 offset.

Check out the wheels and tires sub-forum. It will depend on wheel width and offset, and actual tire measurements.

Not everyone has disposable funds to drop that much coin on a leveling kit... Or just wants to add a little aesthetics to their rig. The ToyTec lift, while nice components, is very pricey... Especially compared to the RC 4" lift. Speaking from personal experience, I am a rough Country dealer. At least 90% of the guys that trash RC have never even used their components. We sell and install Rough Country among other brands, they are on the more affordable side of the spectrum, does that make them junk, no... They are decent kits, the majority of the trucks that get lifts installed will never wheel hard enough to push their limits anyway. Not trashing ToyTec, but there are millions of option out there for every style and budget.

I think people are just trying to push him in the direction of a kit that doesn’t use spacers.
I don’t know shit about RC, so I wouldn’t talk shit on their products, but I would definitely advise somebody in the market for a lift not to go the spacer route.

I agree to a point. I ran a spacer leveling kit for 60,000 miles, I never broke anything... But I dont beat my truck hard. I worked my ass off to get it, I don't want to break it, LoL. I've hit trails with it, getting my quad out of a jam, blasted through some corn fields out here, Never crawled it by any stretch, but it served me well. Its all I could afford at the time. I ran that kit until 100,000 miles until I finally swapped out for a set of coilovers to replace my original Bilsteins.

I don't own the company, nor take any of this personally, and to each his/her own... but I hear of a lot of ppl shying away from RC, because of what others have heard, that they heard from friends of others... That far down the line. They have been in business for a long time, I trust their tech support, and they are a good group of guys out there.

I cleared 35s with 2" level kit. But I did have to cut bumper, skidplate and do a body mount chop kit

I'm running the 4.5 BDS with 35x12.5/18. Don't know the exact offset but the tires are out about 2". No issues and the ride on the BDS lift is awesome. RC looks about 1500 less than the BDS. I'd go heavy on the reviews while researching. Big picture $1500 bucks is a small percentage of your truck value. You can always go RC and upgrade later if you feel the need as well. A couple unsolicited pics.

I agree that there are better lift kits out there, but for right now I think that this one will do. The tires are all I'm pretty much wondering about. Also I don't know if anyone else has noticed bit there seems to be something not quite right with my tundra, maybe it's just me.

If you're talking about what I think what is wrong with it I rely can't put my thumb on it. It just didn't sit right with me, but if your talking about the lift kit it's a 4" rough country lift kit.
