2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
True fact! The Michelins are good tires, just not the right ones for a Pro

Swapped and went back to stock. Realistically I spend my time on the street. Never had trouble on street tires on beach, boat ramp or slight mud in my 1st gen tundra. In fact my street tires were amazing in snow. They were Firestone destination but not sure if le or at. Great tires tho.

For sure the 2nd and 3rd gen tundras look better with more aggressive tires.

I was of the same mindset but only made it to 5,000 miles before replacing the stock tires with BFG KO2's. I found the stock tires to be average at best and the look did not fit or compliment the truck. I didn't have much confidence in them in the snow either. The LT's look much better, are better suitable to adverse weather conditions, and IMO handles better. I also went from 20" to 18" which probably helped with the ride quality.

Most what we do to our trucks are not, strictly speaking, necessary. Even for the guys who say they need e-rated tires, do they really need them in 35s? Tundras can't function without Pro grille, right? I don't know why Toyota supplied these trucks with chrome bumpers which hinders with performance.

My downfall was Bushwacker fender flares. I love them, so I got them along with the wheels to match the flares (I didn't want the tires to be tucked in). Then the stock tires looked out of place. So I had to get a lift kit in order to fit matching larger tires. Those darn fender flares costed me a bundle.

I note the toyo at is a relatively light LT tire.

    Firestone Destinations are underrated IMHO.

Dropped the michelins in favor of some bfg ko2s for the traction, height, and durability benefits.

    305/65R18s ~ 33.6" diameter vs 32.1" stock

Those bigger ones only fit with some mods though don't they?

I'm not sure. Maybe just some heat to the liners if you're running stock wheels
