    Hi I am Jerald!

    Bought her at an auction. She was a fleet vehicle from up in Fort MacMurray. She is a Black Toyota Tundra TRD Offroad 4x4 5.8L 2008 model with 108,000km on the odometer. She is a little dirty inside from the oilfields (no major stains, but lots of pine needles and twigs), but a thorough cleaning and she will look new.

    So. Down 19k cash CDN out the door. What would you do now? She is for hauling motorcycles (I am a motorcycle school). She has been in a 5k fender bender and a 2k fender bender (found out after auction sadly), but the title is clear and she put 40k on since the last one so that is a good sign i think. I have yet to drive her, but started her, idled her, and put it in reverse and drive while on the brakes in the lot (NOOOOOO Test drives at the Auction!) Will update here once I get to drive her on Monday! Will get to check the oil, but the engine looked amazing and sounded great!

    Thanks all! Figured than since I pulled the trigger on this, I should figure out what if anything she will need done to her. Since you all likely know more about this truck than anyone, here was a good place to start! Will post my update ASAP (Monday)!

    Took posession of her and took her up to 100km/h. Flawless. No shimmies or shakes... Will go on the 140km/h highway in a few days with her and will update again in this thread if I notice anything. She needs the litany, as she is an auction truck. She even came with Nokian studded winter tires. I have to swap them out, as i want to keep the studs working. They look good and meaty! More later!

    OK, more time to reply. I forgot to mention, the heat console is in place, but the stereo is gone. I think i was so distracted by the sound of the V8 that I totally mentally blocked that out. I literally was surprise to see that someone had stolen the stereo at the auction. So I checked the pics and I'll be damned if the stereo is missing in the sale picture... Blinded by beauty I guess!

    I want to replace it with an android and put in a backup cam. How can I best consumer this one out? I have found some online used tires on rims for half retail, so might grab em! But which backup cam system? which mounting bracket and fascia? Where do I find such items for sale?

    Oh, I am good with a wrench, but like most BY Mechanic, I am not so good with electrical systems... Any wiring etc I can do if given clear instructions:D
