    That's cool.

My ex-wife still has Sydney, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon, probably 30 years old by now.

We got her as a baby, but she never cared for me much.

I still have these little half-moon shaped scars on my fingers lol.

So this is Binki. She is something else. Story is my grandpa live in nurse for many years was her owner. Well my grandpa passed and Miss Gale grieved the lost of him that made her sick not even 2 weeks later she passed. Before she did she asked if I could take care of Binki. I still hear her voice and my grandpa's. I thought I would be her best friend nope she loves my husband. But I wouldn't have our life any other way. She part of our family and she lets everyone know she thinks she the boss lol

My wife really wants to have a parrot, but I don't think I can handle it. It seems that parrot needs to be let out of the cage to fly - but what if he flies away? If he won't let me sleep? How is it understood if the parrot gets sick? In general, I see too many problems... But at the same time, there are people around me with parrots, and they are very happy. Maybe soon I'll change my mind

Any pet can get sick and often it is big bucks to get them healthy again. My pup is old and I have spent $10,000 in the last six months. After you get a bird, you may want to consider thanking it to the Vet for a wellness check. Good question to ask. You can tell if your bird is lethargic, will not eat, plucks out all his feathers.

I have a Sun Conure. You want a quite bird. They are NOT for you. Any YouTube video will tell you they are very noisy. I didn’t realize how noisy until I had one.

It seems that parrot needs to be let out of the cage to fly - but what if he flies away?

Common sense. Do not have open windows or door when the bird is out. No fans that are not properly protected like a house fan. Funny story. I went up the driveway for some reason. My daughter opened the door and out flew the bird. It flew by and pasted me a full speed down the block. I was sick and thought I never see my Sun Conure again. I took a million to one shot. I call his name. He flew from up the block back to me. To this day, If the sun conure is on me and I walk to the front or back door, he will fly off me and settle someplace familiar. Mine happens to be a homebody.

This is Nacho. Have no idea of the sex. The Vet said they have to draw blood and it was very expensive. So Nacho is a "HE" until I find an egg in the cage
