We have finally listed our house for sale and now the waiting game and fun begins.
I am thinking about using the moving and storage service PODS.
Does anybody have experience with thier service?
I'm mainly interested in hearing about their customer service reputation, what do they provide to help you with your move, what to expect, what to avoid and do they offer a storage lot at the destination other than at the house that we're purchasing in case timing isn't perfect.
I'm sure I will learn a lot once I contact them but wanted to see if someone here had some actual experience or horror stories to arm myself with.
Haven't had to pickup and move since 1984.
That was when we had very little possessions!

Using them right now. 2 containers to move the furniture and stuff out of my mom's house while her new flooring is put in. Make sure you schedule a time for them to bring them back. I wasn't sure how long the contractors would take to finish and regret that. When I called them last Friday to schedule them to be returned... they told me it would be 2 to 2.5 weeks before they could do it. My mom doesn't have a bed now and we had to get her an extended stay hotel room for the 2nd time.

I have my pod being delivered August 2nd and this will be my first pod experience. Good customer service thus far.
