My wife and I have been debating getting a commuter car that gets good fuel mileage for a long time. We started looking at the Camry SE Hybrid. We are about to pull the trigger but I wanted to hear some others experiences. If you have a 18 and up Camry what do you think?

We went and drove one and weren't that impressed. They seem like great cars but my wife saw a Lexus ES250 and now she's set on that :spending:

We went the opposite direction and I got the wife a (new) 2019 XSE V6. Had the TRD exhaust and TRD wheels put on. Not a great commuter ( shitty gas mileage) but fun as hell when you hit the gas!

2022 just off the truck the day we signed

Just signed some pre lim paper work yesterday and driving it off lot today.

Got 7.5% off msrp plus window tinting. This was from a no haggle dealership. Not the best numbers I wanted but in this time I feel that it worked well.

No joke, these dealerships actually have such little new inventory that they are filling lots with used. It's really bizarre. But we all know why :)

We got the xse with moonroof and I had to have the red int. But I looked closer and realized it was a 2022 and the guy said just cameoff the truck.

My wife said start the haggling. I responded there is no way they will deal on that one so I threw in a 2021 as an option that she hated. I got them to move a little bit and with that I said I can't do those numbers.

I said that 22, email me numbers, if there is no wiggle room I'm going else where. I was shocked to find they budged at all.

The moral of the story is, there is wiggle room. They cane down just shy of 10% off msrp on the 21

Good deal. My wife likes that crazy red also. Our local dealers have zippy. I keep getting told they are on there way and no wiggle room. I’m hoping to wait this shortage out as long as my wife can telework.

They have, now 4 white with red, 2 black with red and 1 red with red.

Their site says they have 34 total. That is a lie

This shortage has to come to an end but that will only end when we stop playing on fantasy land make believe
