So received the 2018 headlights for Christmas. The question is which harness do I buy? Want the most plug n play but worried about DRL being on high all the time. Should I be worried? Want the most factory look. Any cons or pros for either harness being offered?
    Thanks

I would run a harness that dims he drl. The drl is pretty damn bright on high. @iHacker makes a great harness that dims.

I have yet to install, will soon! PM him @iHacker I PM'd iHacker before I bought and he walked me through the whole process and then some, he is a standup guy, I choose his after talking to him and the ease of setup! He has been with every one every step of the way and that helped in my decision when buying!

In the end I paid extra for the full pnp setup and is well worth what he charged because I know jack about wiring but I believe a monkey could install this bad boy!

The 2018 LED headlights use the "horseshoe" surround for DRL, highs or lows are not used for that purpose. If you buy a conversion harness your lights your 2018 LED lights should work the same way they work on my truck.

The DRL on the 2018 trucks are dual brightness. High when headlights are off, low when headlights are on. AFAIK, the @iHacker harness is the only one that retains the factory function of DRL high/low. Other harness makers charge the same, but lack the additional relay for that function.

How much is the harness from hacker? Is the turn signal in the 2018 headlights led or incandescent?

Do you think the nsv is worth the coin? Are they bright when on full?

Yes worth the money for sure and I got a good deal buying through torc, on sale until New Years I believe. Gotta love an factory like fit and finish, no cutting, and it comes with the switch panel that replaces the stock one. Everything fit like a glove. Light output is very bright. I will try to get some out put shots here soon.
