Any suggestions? Not sure what I need.

2003 Tundra RC. Installing a new sony head unit. Thinking maybe goog to replace the speakers. Although they do sound fine to me now.

I do have separate tweeters in the door. Dont think I have an amp. Does not say JBL anywhere.

Also do people replace the tweeters?

    Thanks

Do you have tweeters in the door?

While you may not have JBL now, JBL makes great component sets that won't break the bank and much better than their price tag. While there are higher-end brands out there, you're just not going to beat what they offer for a well-rounded package at the price point.

Crutchfield's parts selector will help you find everything that fits your truck and give you the correct adapters on purchase, and give tech support. It's worth checking out.

I had a Prime 6.5 component system in my previous pickup. They were a little tinny up top with the highs and lacking low-mid fill IMO. I mainly bought them because they were less than $100 and I got what I paid for.

Don't get me wrong, Rockford, JL and Kicker all make decent component systems but anything below $200 for their stuff is marginal at best. I just think JBL offers fuller sound with their speakers, especially with the Club series. For under $200 you got solid mids, lows and highs in a single all-inclusive package.
