So I have been searching for pics of wheel to wheel running boards on a Double cab for months and did not have much luck. There are a few in here but not many and 95% put on cab lenght but being 5’7” it’s not easy reaching over the side and I use my bed daily.I almost went with a set of NFAB Podiums but the rear step is not centered in the bed area because the bed /wheel well drops down plus I’m not a fan of steps. So I went with a pair of Luvernnes. I am a mechanic and I must say these thing are built well. Brackets and very beefy and the last on in the rear comes off the spring hanger. Steps are alluminum. 102” long. They are super solid all around. I am still waiting on a skirt that’s supposed to cover the cab between the boards and the rocker panel.

I saw your picture in a previous post. Those look great and I started researching them. I am 5’5 and aluminum step are a must for me in NY salty winters. Having easier to the bed would be great.

Do you mind taking a close up picture? And what exact model did you get? Thanks!

Great...nothing in particular just shots where I can see the gap between the body and step and how far the stick out. Honestly whatever’s easier for you will suffice... I currently have the OEM brushed aluminum/black ones so I would to see what they are in comparison.

    Much appreciated

Will do. I have a skirt ordered which they say fills the gap but that’s not coming till mid week. They barely stick out past the wheels now but I have them adjusted all the way in. You have about an inch of movement. The bed access is great !!

Good to know. The rear brackets on this thing are 1/4 and connect to the spring hanger on the frame so no connection to the bed. I will keep an eye on it though thanks. Was it a tundra ? What Brand boards ?

    Not nearly enough room here!
Couldn't find WTW running boards back when I bought my 2010 but ICI builds a stainless pair of nerf bars in 4 inch that have held up really well.Resized_20190716_075104[6877].jpg
