    There is probably a thread already about my question which is;
    I've read a lot about mistrust when it comes to shock spacer lifts. I wonder if the same applies to wheel spacers?

    There is some risk in that there is another potential failure point adding a spacer and 5 more lugs to each corner. Plenty run them but they should be installed properly and torque checked regularly. Wheel spacers are one of the things where you should buy the best available, dont try and save $ on that item. Spidertrax, Borla and similar brands preferred over something cheap. Depending on your tire size, adding them can induce rubbing as you are moving to a more negative offset.

    I ran 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers on my tacoma 10+ years with no issues. I have them on my tundra as well.

    Not sure at this point.
    No, lots of people do run spacers. It's just the fact that spacers get a bad rap due to those who are installing it, are not installing it properly. They most likely do not own a torque wrench, or have bought cheap spacers that are prone to QC issues.

    If you're looking to run spacers, go with Spidertrax. Get a torque wrench if you don't own one, and torque those suckers down properly. Once on the initial install, then again about 100 miles after; this is to check that none of the lugs came loose.
