From what I saw on YouTube, 17x8.5 -10 wheels wrapped in 35x1250 Toyo MT’s stick out pretty good. The mud flaps had to be deleted and of course a leveling kit would clear the rest of the way.

Here’s the link to the YouTube video I found yesterday. https://youtu.be/DyyEh5I_ZOA

I’m not going crazy. I plan on running 20x9 +10 on 275/60 Cooper Rugged Trek with a leveling kit.

I am thinking/hoping for anything in between +18 to +20 (ideal).
I was planning on re-using my 295/70/18s (Atturo TrailBlade) which has only 10K miles on them…
…but if I got lightweight 17s at a good price I may reconsider the whole plan.

Getting the RC leveling kit installed tomorrow and 35x12.5x18 on methods with +18 offset in a couple days if they show up. Will post a few pics and let you guys know if I run into any issues.

Rc leveling kit is on order and 4 rrw RR7-H are ordered 17’s matte black, I like the bronze but I’m scared I won’t love them. I don’t mind the poke but went with -12 offset vs -25 because that would be a little much for personal preference. Will order the Hybrid bead locks a bit down the road didn’t want to drop all my money at once. So far from what I could tell it will be the same look as R4T’s tundra. I had on my tacoma the scs ray 10 -38 offset 285/75/17 and they were a nice poke. Should be a bit similar with a 12.5 on the tundra with less offset. Also a picture of the rims as well.

If its not too much to ask can you measure how much poke you get with the +18 Methods and 35x12.5 combo? I think a lot of people will go this route. Thanks

That’s a nice wheel…and it comes in under 27lbs also.

I am shopping for something Gunmetal/anthracite myself to put on the 22 MGM.
I Don’t really want to go black, afraid of clashing metals if I do bronze and figured polished (like I had on my silver 2015) would be too much of a contrast.

Yeah I definitely agree since I don’t want a TRD OR and it will have silver fenders but could always change it down the road

I also heard back from Titan-7 regarding their T-AK1 wheels, they are about 6-7 months out from release. They make a great wheel, lightweight, forged, basically the next best thing to the Volk and about $1k cheaper for a set.

Sure thing. My tires and wheels are at the shop waiting but the leveling kit was delayed. Fed ex is garbage. Hoping to get it done tomorrow if the spacer shows up.

How are you guys getting the alignment done? I’m being told that Hunter (alignment machine brand) doesn’t have the specs for the 22 Tundra yet.

I haven’t gone for alignment as yet…I went up 3 sizes to 295/70/18 on the stock TRD OR rim and no lift/level…so far so good.

I will try to get it aligned this weekend hopefully but I shouldn’t be too far out of spec if at all

Fills out the wheel well nicely. How much of that front squat is the angle versus the lack of level? Do you have a pic on level ground?

No pic on level ground as yet…most of the squat is due to driveway.
Will try to get some on level ground this weekend

No rubs…I am planning to wait until the Toyota kit comes out then hopefully do that with a set of 18’s in the +18 to +20 range

so I get to enjoy this setup for 6 months or so (assuming Toyota is on time)

In case anyone is wanting go for for this look…

SCS has Matte Bronze Ray10’s in stock with a -38 offset. Not my cup of tea but I’m sure it’s someone else’s!

If so, true 35s (11.5, 12.5 might be a squeeze) will fit on the TRD Pro from factory with no adjustment. That makes me excited.

They will not fit the old body, they’re five lug and the new body is a six lug.
