Good food is one thing but sometimes there s no time to make a real meal, so I end up going to the cubbard and grabbing a can of Nally chili, and throwing it in the microwave. I add a few things though. The first thing I do is crunch up a big handfull of nacho cheese doritoes in the bottom of the bowl. I pour the chili on top, and mix it all up. I heat it up, and when it gets hot the doritoes soften, and blends well into the chili. I get some la victoria red chili sauce, and pour a good helping in, and then sriracha hot chili sauce for some heat. It turns out like tamale pie with beans, and it s my go to 5 min meal. I d be interested in hearing more quick meal ideas, although I think I could eat this every day and not get tired of it.

There is a company in Japan that sells concentrated pork and beef bone broth that is phenomenal. The broth/concetrated comes in little packets. Best Tonkatsu ramen I have ever had. Bought it on Amazon. If you don't like it, sonething is wrong wth you...lol

I was going to say how high in sodium ramin is and then I looked at a can of chili. Should have never done it:annoyed:

You wont believe it but its a form of SOS. Shit on a Shingle LOL or hamburger gravy as we called it growing up.

Hamburger, add couple packets of brown gravy mix, make some rice, pour over rice. Add onions and peppers or whatever you want and season as you like.

Quick, simple and can feed you for days.

My quick go to is usually grilled cheese or something super lazy like that. In the summer, maybe smokies on the bbq if we have some in the deep freeze.

You got my attention. I was stationed in Japan 30 years ago and still miss some of the ma and pa noodle shops. I found this on Amazon. Is this the one? What noodle do you purchase?

Great , I thought I was the only adult left that loves Capt'n Crunch ,morning or a snack. Also grilled cheese , or tuna fish sandwich. Oh and SOS is or was , dried beef lunch meat in a gravy sauce over toast ,in the army and at home. Loved it , had too.

I was a cook in the marines in the late 70 s, and made chipped beef every morning. It was a favorite with all the troops, although they were sort of a captive audience:D. Hot fried spuds topped off with creamed beef is an awesome meal.

Currently on Stan Effording’s Vertical Diet. Monster mash everyday! You can order prepped by their company or make your own. Super simple. Leftovers heat up in 2-2:30 minutes.

Basically make white rice(Calrose) with half chicken stock/water.
    Brown hamburger.
Sauté frozen spinach & red bell peppers(frozen preferably)
    Roast some Yukon good potatoes.
Combine everything and salt to taste.

obviously the original batch takes longer but I usually make about 10-15 servings at a time.

Assuming I have the ingredients, beans and wieners on toast. Can of pork'n'beans, half a dozen hot dogs cut up into dimes, squirt of ketchup, squirt of mustard, drizzle of bbq sauce, shake or two of dried onion flakes. Heat and stir. Serve on buttered toast. Serving over rice works too.
