What's a reasonable price to pay on this very basic build?

Looking at the 2018 Tundra, SR5 trim, CrewMax 5.7L. Don't want any of the options or accessories, except the 38 gal fuel tank (so I guess that's the "SR5 upgrade package"?). The "Build your own" shows an MSRP of 41.7K.

Anyone have bought similar builds before can share what they paid for it and where they're located?

To find out exactly what each/ every option and package "cost" the dealer, order the "Fighting Chance" reports for 2018 Toyota Tundra. They're about $40. That'll tell you how low a dealer could go for a Toyota employee-- pretty much the lowest they'll go for anyone. Expect that you'll have a hard time finding a no-extras-except-the-one-extra-package-you-want truck though-- and if you order one, it's unlikely you'll get any discounting. If you use the reports to know how much each add-on costs, you can at least get a best price for the options on the truck on a dealership lot that's closest to what you want.

I got a 2 wheel drive 2016 SR5 texas edition for $40.5k. it has the SR5 upgrade package and a few other add-ons that come with the texas edition. $41.7k doesn't seem too out of line for a 2018.

Costco sets you up with whatever local (to you) dealership they have an agreement with. I did all my correspondence through email. easy peasy.
