he goes to bed fairly early so he might not be up, but he'll answer in the morning. there are plenty of others on here that have installed them that will answer when they see the thread. @smslavin might have one already

You'll want to get power from the battery via a relay whose coil is triggered by an ignition circuit, like stereo. Just look at your fuse box and find a circuit that would only be on with ignition and install an add-a-fuse, connected to relay.

A compressor motor like that would have a big starting surge and would require more power than a cigarette outlet would provide. I have a relay for my compressor so that all of the power doesn't have to go through the control switch.

Yes I have the compressor 20A wired directly to the battery and need keyed power source to the pressure switch that goes to the relay. I haven't had the time yet to check under the dash yet (shopping, kids, 4 wheeler) and was wondering if someone might know of something in the eng compartment, under dash of a wire that might go to nothing. Be a good suggestion for the 4th gen to have a few extra fuses under hood and dash for joe-blow to add accessories.

    Some stuff
i don't have a good answer for this one. i'll be using an ARB compressor and one of these to tie into my SwitchPros controller.

to keep it clean, if i didn't have the SwitchPros, i'd probably use a blue sea box so an add-a-fuse wouldn't be hanging out of the fuse box. just like what @computeruser6 posted up.
