Whataburger (and maybe some buc-ee’s)

Being a west coast guy, and not eating much fast food, I had never had Whataburger. I eventually had some whole traveling near Moody, AL. I was pretty disappointed. Its basically McDonalds..

Chubby's and Five Guys are where its at when it come to burgers..

To be fair, I think IN-N-OUT is garbage too, and everyone loves that trash.

 

I love Whataburger but why are they so damn slow? I mean you still go knowing it’s going to be a 10 minute wait at least. And it’s every location. I don’t mind waiting if they get my order right but when you wait and they still screw it up I tend to get a little rage lol. Maybe it’s just the Shreveport/Bossier locations who can’t read. I hope they bring back the Monterey melt soon.

 

That's what I've been saying.

 

I used to travel to Oregon quite a bit and they opened an In-and-Out in Keizer. Craziest thing I saw hundreds and hundreds of people in line to get in the joint when they opened. As a matter of principle, I refuse to wait in line for food.

 

I believe everything is made to order. Nothing is pre-cooked, therfore increasing the wait time just a bit.

 

Just saw last night on tv, Whataburger got a spicy chicken sandwich

 

They are pretty good if its fresh. I got one a few days ago that was cold and dry.

I had a patty melt for breakfast at 4:30 this morning. One of the best things about Whataburger is 24 hour burgers.

I ate my usual Whataburger #1 with mayonnaise lettuce and cheese with a half lemonade/ power aid to drink. But the spicy ketchup is the best part.

Just installed my bora 1” spacers. Supposed to take a 5 mile ride after and re-torque. So I’m sitting in line at Whataburger. Close to 5 miles.

 

This just happened to arrive yesterday.

This thread is making me hungry. Unfortunately I am in Virginia right now and there are no In-N-Out or Whataburgers here. I will have to go to an old standby....
