Do Canadians feel the same about the CRA as Americans do about the IRS? LOL

 

Yeah pretty much.

 

Here are some vintage boilers,combined 6.8 million BTU that have exceeded life expectancy 31 YO this spring and I hope we can swap these out while there functioning "properly" and can't avoid and major cluster F.

Here's some of the other equipment two hot water tanks 1.1 million BTU'S each a UV water treatment our medical air and med vacuum system.

 

Very much, they don't have the best track record.

 

I cant imagine most people are happy about ever increasing taxes, especially everyone who works hard their whole lives to pay them! And the tax collectors of course get the brunt of that hate, even when it is the govts that are the cause of those ever increasing taxes!

 

Working on a design for a company that is related to wastewater monitoring... and most meetings have some sort of shit joke

 

Taxation is theft.

Please get my return to me faster this year and don't worry about that extra "business expense"...

Very much so. It's not @IsaiahCanada 's fault though. I too work for a government branch people aren't a big fan of. We all got bills to pay (which would be easier if we weren't taxed to death...)

 

100% agreed.

 

The petition going through Alberta might be the solution for that though.

 

God willing. If nothing else, maybe it gives us a better seat at the table.

 

Depending what happens, I've started looking into moving to Alberta. Not sure how that might work in the future but I hope you guys are willing to accept people from other provinces trying to flee the madness.

I did technical support for 25 years.
Now I do lawn maintenance, handyman work and reclaimed lumber crafts (various markets etc.)

 

Just don't turn it into what you left. Otherwise, hardworking, self sufficient, freedom lovers are always welcome.

I noticed that when I filled up in CANUCK landia, all of the gas pumps had a pie chart of what percentage the fuel taxes were going to. I was tired so maybe I hallucinated that. Ha

 

I don't live in Edmonton.

Agreed... Not a single person I've voted for has ever won an election (federal, provincial, or municipal) since I've been able to vote (post 2015). Self reliance and freedom have evaporated in Ontario, and Canada

 

I'm trying to remember for sure but I think the same is true here.

BTW, a lot of jobs have opened up on the North Slope. A lot. Big $$$$
