Like the title says, just curious what Pro owners think.
    Thanks

Other than asking what year tundra is the best since it’s almost the same underneath, they are all pretty much the same.

Only real difference is 2017 and prior was bilstein shocks and 2019-2020 uses fox shocks.

Also they were based off the SR5 model until the 2020s I believe. So I’d say 2020 are the best because of upgraded interior.

    Black 2019 are the best.

Go for a black one if you can find them and handle the power.

If you are new to the Tundra then get a 2019 white one.

    2015

Per the consumer reports history, 2015 is the most trouble free. The only flaw in my opinion is the fact it only came with the pitiful 26g fuel tank. I replaced that with a transfer flow. I also added the oem brake controller.

I prefer to NOT have leather, TSS, push button start, CarPlay, sun roof, heated seat or steering wheel.

It would be nice to have a nicer stereo and head lights, but this doesn’t matter much to me.

I love my 19. The fox suspension is fantastic.

I do wish I had some of the updates the 20 gets (push button start, CarPlay) but I don’t have all the extra sensors to break sooo...

I don’t think you can go wrong with either one

Id say 2019 with the fox shocks and bbs rims. only thing on the 20's that would be nice is the heated seats.

I got an 18 limited to replace my 17 Pro (wanted more features). Worst mistake ever (for a modder)

As dope as it looked - it kicked an error on almost every mod.

    Screen Shot 2019-02-15 at 10.49.52 AM.jpg

stuck with my pro and replaced the limited with a pro runner

    IMG_1600.jpg

    IMG_1937.jpg

when its time for me to go new - i would have to concur witb uppers decision to rock GMC (for modding)

unless they fix that TSS shit

Any Pro Tundra is a good truck. For me it came down to color over year model. I really wanted Inferno so 2015 it was. The money I saved going with a 2015 over a 2010 leaves more than enough room to make upgrades to the 2015 and still have some left over.

    The one in my driveway!

In all seriousness, they are all nice. I agree 2017 and older are best without the tss crap. But then again i dont mind them on mine. The only thing i hate is that damn adaptive cruise control. I hardly use it anymore. Damn thing breaked on me to many times in situations it had no right to slow me down. Going around a curve there is a right hand exit. It makes the truck think a car is in my lane because of the curve. Basically slammed on the brakes and the car behind me almost rear ended my ass because of it. I wish you could turn it off. Whenever that is discovered how to disable it will be done to mine as well.

Seriously? Gonna have to try this. I was holding that sensor button that adjust sensitivity to see if that would disable it but had no luck.

Big Dave, you have humbled me and made me feel quite incompetent. Spot on and can't thank you enough, I've been trying to get that off for 18 months. I'm guessing you probably found this revelation where most are found- in the owner's manual.
