I posted recently that my truck had water leakage and I took it to the dealer. They had it today to find the leak. They told me they located the leak and were ordering a new back window that should get installed Tuesday. I ask if I should just drive my truck until then. The service advisor tells me if I drive it and it rains it may get more water damage and that they will park it inside for me until its fixed. They offered me a free car to drive so that all sounded great. I get to the dealership to pick up the rental and my truck is parked up front. Parked like shit like someone who never drove a tundra parked it. Crooked and on the line. I'm already on edge when I go inside and I'm waiting my turn, I can see my truck and some other customers I presume are outside near it. This ass hat sucking on a vape is leaning all over my truck like its his. I tell my service advisor and he replies that I can go ask him to get off if I like. I walk outside and the vape guy has moved away but his buddy is still there next to my truck and I ask if they can stay off my truck. He replies yea I just told him that, referring to his buddy. I start walking away to go inside and hear "fucking prick" and I exchange some colorful words with the ass hat and tell the service advisor what just happened. He walked over but didn't do much and I walked inside to avoid any trouble so I dont know if he even said anything. The assholes soon left. What the hell? I'm already stressed about my truck leaking and needing repairs and this is my experience at the dealer?

I would take your phone and if your truck is clean I would use your phone and video all your panels. Or better yet I would make the service advisor go out to your truck and have him go over every inch of every panel on your truck and if there is no scratches no prior damages you sign it and he signs it and you both date it. I manage a body shop and every customer that drops off their vehicles for repairs we have a check-in sheet. We go over every inch of the car and note any prior damages and have the customer sign it. To cover your ass I would do this as soon as possible. That way if something happens to your Truck... a Nick .. scratch... some asshat leaning on your truck putting a dent in a panel.... you are covered.

It probably wasn't someone that works at the dealership, so you did all you can do besides going to jail.

I'm telling you though, if it were them in your shoes....the sky would be falling.

People's respect for other people's property is almost faded to legend.

I would chalk it up to whichever one said that is a straight up loser and someday he will say something to someone who will knock his teeth in.
You are the better man for walking away.

Sorry typing on phone it probably didn't come out right. Random vaping jackass. Not employees.

Oh well to me they are poorly caring for your truck. Make sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb and if anything is messed up make sure that dealer takes care of it

When I dropped my truck off we both walked around it and he noted no prior dents or scratches.
