Mine was a green 1977 Triumph TR7. I bought it used in 1984 for about $5K. It was a terrible first car. I didnt know anything about cars back then. I was constantly having problem with electrical and over heating. The left headlight was constantly popping up and down and I had to disconnect the relay to make it stop. It also misfired a lot. I didnt have any clues on how to adjust the dual Stromberg carburetors so I lived it with.

1979 Ford LTD with the 5.8l v8. I loved that car and have fond memories of driving around with my girlfriend and her best friend sitting backwards in the front seat, facing me. The enormous, couch-like bench seats made it easy to lug around 5 friends. The transmission died because I drove it like a teenager. I replaced the trans in our driveway with minimal instruction from pops and got a few more miles out of it before I sold it for some total POS Ford Contour.

I think it got worse fuel economy than my Tundra does now, but gas was around 75¢ a gallon back then.

1972 240z, midnight blue with white interior. Ran perfect, until it rotted away. I was 17 and knew nothing about cars then. I was just learning mechanic work, and what a fun car to start with. I knew absolutely nothing about body work. It's last day my friend fell through the floor on the passenger side. Was doing about 5 mph, sheet metal was just attached over by the transmission. Scared the shit out of him..........I thought is was the funniest shit I've ever seen. Dirt and sparks flying into him, it was precious. We wedged the seat up and he rode in the hatch on it's last drive home. When I came back home from school my parents had it towed to the junk yard. Well so much for restoring a 240z with a rare color combo. I was now driving a Datsun 280zx turbo........and many, many Z cars later, 32 years later, I am now driving a 1972 240z........summertime of course.

1979 Dodge Aspen coupe, 2 door with a slant six. Actually looked like the "Duster". All my friends had Hot Rods, father said I had to have something dependable. He was right, the Hot Rods were always broke down, my car was the dependable one that got driven everywhere. Many road trips in that thing. Altough very cold natured, it ran and ran and ran.

My wife’s was a 74 Celica. I’ll have to see if we have a pic somewhere. Mine was My grandpas 89 Silverado. It was only four years old when I got it. Grandpa hooked me up for sure.
