With the truck in my signature I’m running 35 PSI all the way around. What PSI are you running on your trucks with similar tire size?

Stock tires running 36-38 front and 28-32 rear unloaded. My tires are wearing very evenly and they respond in the corners nicely. I air them down when I Offroad and air them up when I haul. Results may very depending on brand size and rating of tire.

I’m interested in opinions on this also as, hopefully, a little MPG improvement. Right now I’m running the psi’s recommended on the door jamb (30 and 32 psi’s).

I run 34 - 35 on my stock tires. I'm big on my tire maintenance.

That makes for a nice cushy ride but it negatively affects MPG’s bump it up!

Thanks @15whtrd. I have to fuel up tomorrow. I think I’ll bump them up to 35 before then and go from there.

My 2002 calls for 26 front and 29 rear. WTF was Toyota thinking? That seems way too low. I run at least 30 all around.

    I like 35 all round, minimum 32.

My 06 DC door sticker stated to run 29 in the fronts. Terrible tire life. Bumped it up to min 32 and got a whole lot more life out of a set of tires. That, and cross rotating them every 5k miles. Fonts to the back, rear tires cross over to the front.
Same now for the '17 CM.

275/65/18's, I run 37lbs on all four corners. That seems to be the sweet spot.

My truck was delivered by the dealer with 28 psi. Front tires wore badly on outside edges the first 5000 miles. I increased it to 38 and it seems like it has been wearing even since then. I am at 30,000 miles now.

I'm pretty sure this is the pressure recommended by Discount Tire.
I'm at 57K miles, have gotten the tires rotated every 5K miles and I'll make 60k with no problem.
Most of my driving is normal city, but have done plenty of four wheel drive roads when camping, but no real towing.

At the expense of accelerated/poor wear. Usually the $ saved in mpg does not equal the cost of tires.

True. Overinflated can negatively affect the tire wear the same as under inflated. Gotta find the right spot.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
I aired up mine the other day to the mfg spec's (30 up front and 32 in the rear). I thought that was a little low and might try 35 all the way around. Glad I'm not the only person thinking this...

stock tires, 32psi, was at 35psi when I bought it but the door jam sticker says it should be 32 so I lowered it. Any reason to run it higher?

How is your tire wear on the outside fronts? Mine were getting choppy at the door jamb specs. I added a rear sway and jacked up the pressure a bit, now they wear nicely.

They're wearing normal, at least i haven't noticed any uneven wearing. I have stock sway bars for rear/front with the TRD Sport package.
BTW, my truck has only 4,600 miles so I doubt i'll notice any weird tread wear.
