    Will a Ford F150 6.5 shell fit a Tundra?

The older F150 shells might fit but it won't be perfect, it will depend on shell manufacturer. You will have to try them on and be prepared to walk away if it doesn't fit well enough, you need to have secure installation and prevent leaks into the truck bed. It's time consuming to go around trying on different F150 shells and might not be worth it, you can save time by buying a 1st gen Tundra shell if you can find one for a good price. Mine was only $120 but I waited around and ignored the 1st gen Tundra shells listed for $1000-2000 on Craigslist.

Just my opinion so take it for very little, but I'd rather have a shell that was made to fit my particular model truck in an off-color, than one for another truck at a good price. And an FYI . . . the shells made for Gen 1 access-cabs are a little different than those made for Gen 1 Double Cabs . . . it's not a huge difference, but there is some. If it were me, I'd just take my time and wait for the right model to fit your rig and jump on it when you find one. Good luck.

If it weren't for you being up in the NE US, I'd be mighty tempted to take you up on that offer.

What's the point of a Frankenstein truck? If you prefer the F150, why not just buy one?
