    Hi guys,

I am beginning to start looking at replacing the stock wheels / tires and I am trying to figure out what offset I need to have the tires flush out to the edge of the fender flares. My truck came with the pocketed flares from the dealer, which I like, but the stock wheels are so tucked in, I think it looks funny.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have fender flares but the SCS Ray 10s are +25mm off set which seem to have a good profile. There are lots of pictures in the group buy thread you could look at some guys are running them with fender flares, checkout @BlueBottle build.

Depends on the tire size you’re looking at too. For instance, @Grey Wolf has 295/70R18 Coopers with +12 offset wheels. Looking right down the side he’s very close to being even with his flares, maybe even a hair past. But remember, Coopers also run a little wider than most tires that size. @smslavin has 35x12.5’s on +18’s, and his looks dead even to me.

Agree with ya completely on the tires looking tucked in, have never understood the idea of flares with stock tires and wheels.

Yep...the flares cover the treads with the sidewalls a bit past. A fine line from looking good or dorky....

I’m going with 0 on 285s. It will bring the treads to just shy of the edge of the fender flare. It’s farther out than I planned, but I’m too poor to be picky when I find a good deal.

Same here and I have a slight poke out from the flares, I'd guess +12 to +25 is the way to go for pocket flares and 285 or 295 tires
