    I am replacing my vac lines. This one will have to be a Toyota part as it smaller diameter on this side but where it meets the air box it’s much larger.
    What is this line called ?

    It’s the vent for the crankcase. It works with the PCV valve on the other head.

    Silicone and oil don’t mix well. The oil Vapor’s from the crankcase will slowly eat it

    Silicone hose won’t work. It’s one diameter on one end. Bigger on the air box end.

    Depends upon how much of a difference. I just put in new vacuum hose today rated as 8 mm ID which easily fit over a 10 mm connection.

    Use fuel line hoses, you can get a barbed coupling of 2 different sizes at the depot or Lowes.

    12mm hose worked with a hose clamp on the valve cover side.
