I'm a big fan of waxaddict but always willing to try something new. That cowl is a tough part to keep looking good and black, the waxaddict worked the best for me thus far but doesnt last long, a month max. Not bad because something like aero303 only lasted a week or so on my cowl. I just ordered a bottle of optimum tire coating that was suggested by @War Machine. This stuff is a different type of finish that is supposed to last months, and Jason found it stands up to that claim. I will try it on my cowl and post something in the detailing forum.

I just replaced my cowl because I couldn't take it anymore.

I continued to de-chrome the truck. Before and after shots.

How do you like your go rhino rb20s? I've been thinking about getting some. Do you feel they stick out too much? I can't tell in most pics.

My RB20’s stuck out too much so I cut the brackets and re-welded them where I thought they looked best. Had to cut the front corners of the boards some as well. Some people flip the boards around (they can go either way) so they don’t stick out so much.

The rear of the console was soooooo easy.
    1. Pop off panel by carefully pulling up on edge of vents. 2. Unplug cig lighter and 2 spots where wire bundles are clipped down. 3. Unscrew plate that holds the cig port on it (3 screws, Philip's). 4. Remove cig port and I had to slightly cut a larger hole to fit my new charger so I just used a utility knife around the inner edge of the existing hole. 5. Insert, straighten, tighten down new USB Charger. 6. Cut red and white wires at old plug. Using simple female to female wire connector; strip, insert, and crimp added wires with female spade receivers. 7. Plug and play and check for accuracy. 8. Pop panel back on and boom. Took me 25 minutes.
