Just make sure to cut INSIDE your trace lines. This will ensure a snug fit!!

I’m guessing you have installed this? When I cut the holes out of the template, should I remove the entire black line, leave the entire black line, or somewhere in between? Maybe this is all covered in instructions. Admittedly, I haven’t even opened the box yet.

I have completed the install...was one of the first mods I did and absolutely love it. It did take about 6 beers for my balls to grow big enough to cut a hole in my 40k dollar truck but glad I did it! I cut the template with scissors directly on the black line. Then once you lay the template and trace it out just remember to cut inside your marked line on the carpet.

It wasn’t too bad to use. I learned I had to repeatedly shake and spray small sections at a time. Used up 2.5 cans for the grille. i should have looked into the wheel kit that’s cheaper then the trim kit + 3extra cans I bought. Sign up for their discount code to save. I saved like $10 from it

Only prep was just washing it and then spraying it with their “prep solvent” it smelled like alcohol to be honest and wipe it dry. l It’s just like plastidip. Think I probably sprayed like 7-9 coats of it then about 2 coats of their high gloss.

Incase anyone else with the tech12volts Fortin one remote start has my same issue:

I installed mine the other day and was having issues with intermittent starting. Only worked like half the time over a few day period.rr I contacted James at Tech12volts today and he told me the '18 is sensitive to the speed at which you push the lock button. He said to try pushing it slower. I gave it a solid 1 second gap between each press and it seems to work every time now. Just FYI to anyone else going to buy one.

There’s definitely a slight difference. It looks more like a matte finish to me when standing close but the truck has some dirt and pollen so hopefully it matches better once i give it a wash. Probably gonna try to smooth it out and spray a few more coats of the white and few more of their brand high gloss coat lil bit later down the road

Apologies in advance for the picture heavy updates. I’ve been such a slacker!

It all started with black powder coat for my new @Victory4x4 @brimy311 sliders. Which quickly apparently went into a free fall of powder coating Oprah car giveaway. You get PC!! And you! And you! You too!! I have a problem.

Victory 4x4 sliders. Initially came out of PC glossy and slipper AF. Usually that’s my cup o tea but not on these. Sent them back and he redid them with a matte texture. No busted asses on these. Also in this shot traded in my 275 KO2s for 35 KO2s.

Pulled the letters out so we could black PC the TRD Pro skid plate. I love it can’t lie about it. Oh you’re doing a batch of TRD red powder coat? Don’t mind if I just chunk in these tow hooks
    C4307374-B688-455E-840E-5D2A694FCBA3.jpg

And might as well do these bed rail cleats. Don’t want any powder to go to waste after all
    A29AF98A-7AB0-450A-B409-4D6DD0B6D6B7.jpg

And my @sdhq_offroad abs protectors. I’m really doing my powder coated a favor at this point. A @Victory4x4 LCA skid plate and @Coachbuilder1 steering arm sighting too
    590E4232-AED4-46B7-AAA5-E7820173EDB8.jpg

And my @Victory4x4 rear diff skid. Which came in handy this past weekend and now needs to go back to powder coat. You might have spotted a red rear diff breather mod too. Guess I should take those part stickers off my gear...

Well post reply and upload file was close for my fat thumbs so heres more!

Added VLED blue footwell lights which casts a nice hue over the @james@tech12volts jbl amp, door, center, and sub group buy I took advantage of a couple months ago. James was phenomenal as per the yoozsh and helped me dial it in. It bangs so hard I rarely go above 10 on my volume.
