What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

That is what bothers me about it. I need to figure out how to make just the chrome red. On the 5.7 badge. May need to find someone with good hand painting skills. I’m like a crackhead when it comes to cutting in.

 

Maybe buying a set of the black overlays and doing it off the truck may help and if it doesnt work you can blackout what you have if thats your cup of tea...

 

I've cut my own stencils a bit.... even with painters tape. If i was closer i would offer help in taping off the black and trimming it for only the chrome to show through.

 

I would say move to Virginia, but we moved it to Seattle. It rains all time now. I want to move.

 

I moved from va myself too. Now i miss home. Mainly the clean streets.

Like s built in. I’m only 5’10” or so, can’t quite reach under the rear seats from the driver seat and I’m too lazy to do it if I have to get out and grab one lol

 

I'd go painter tape and razor knife.

 

Hey I'm the same height lol I can strecth reach....I keep mine at the edge under the back seat....have you thought of maybe using the pocket on the back of the passenger seat?

I use these in my crafting and they work great....very sharp and great for the tight spaces.

I’ll have to give it a shot.. I had it behind the driver under the rear passenger and that’s when I realized how lazy I am lol

Behind the front seat passenger... the thing just flops over and hits my oldest (5 yo) in the knees - he sits in the middle rear seat.

 

Maybe do the whole thing in red plastidip and then fill with black Testors modeling paint. I’ve used Testors to fill in the safety switch markings on my AR lower receiver and then gently wiped any excess paint away with non acetone fingernail polish remover.

 

This is what I want it to look like in the end. I don’t have good enough vision or a steady enough hand to tape and cut. Mostly I am too hyper and OCD I think. I’m going to find a painter to do this. I can remove the badges and have them painted. I took a sharpie just to see what it would look like. I like it.

what about in between the middle console and the passenger seat?

 

Take it off and plastidip the whole thing. Use an exacto knife to trim what you don't want. Easy peasy

 

Now I gotta remember all this shit... 10 beers in...
