What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Well over the month I have had my new CM SR5 tundra I have tinted the front two windows to match back. Then I added a chrome exhaust tip from Toyota. I then added the TRD rear sway bar (works great) and finally I used a Hondo Garage Mount and my Ram Mount from my 4runner to get my phone mounted up. This is an awesome set up. Very strong .

 

So I tried this and my system doesn't recognize any files. 2017 Tundra, any help would be appreciated.

 

I screwed with it for about an hour and had the same result as you. I scaled down the picture quaility for smaller file sizes, correct hxw, file type, all caps short file names. Formatted the flash drive to various partition types (FAT, FAT32)... no luck so I gave up...

I don’t understand why I can’t just use their app to put a custom pic on. Oh yeah, that’s right. The entune app BLOWS.

Oh, and I saw today they have an entune3 app on the App Store... but guess what... not available with my unit... fuckers.

 

what lift are you running? how much rubbing? did you have to do much trimming? I am thinking of going with some hostile 20x10 -19

Had the same issue until I used a new thumb drive. Try a new one or erase everything from the one you’re currently using and then only load the pics you want to use on it.

Not as fan either, for some reason mine only liked one thumb drive. I tried three, only the new one worked. I ultimately changed HUs.

 

I tried a few different ones of those too... no luck... that was like a year ago though.. maybe I’ll try again soon...

 

I did the mod to fix my Tundra's whistle. More importantly, I made a video of how to do it because I couldn't find a good one out there. Let me know what you all think!

I figured it out this morning. Each image needs a root folder named properly. "StartupImage" "DisplayOffImage" and use only .jpg or .jpeg images.

 

Entune is very funny about the flash drive. Took me three to finally get one to work. Try different ones now three of the same. Make sure it’s formatted to fat32 and you should be good. I’m on my 3rd truck with entune and it’s always been the same.

 

Shout out to @NoKenDo and @Pudge for the mirror caps and handles. Finally got them both on as well as the distressed flag decal I ordered last week. More to come...

Installed the remote start today. Works great. Very easy for the most part. Got it from tech12volts.

 

I have Firestone bags I installed last year, said I will be fine with manual fill. I was always worried that the psi was low and told if you don't have 5psi you can damage the bag. So on the hunt for a compressor, must be dual. Won eBay auction $250. Thought about placement and easy removal if trade. Went with this, was going for no lines showing but that hole is factory. Only disappointment was ran low on hose, wanted air intake filter hidden in bed wall, easy fix later with the John Gist fittings. Also kept the manual fill fittings.

 

Installed Vled day time running light switchbacks and GTR LED H4 headlights last weekend.

 

Need to install mine. Been sitting on a shelf since Xmas.

What do you think of the GTR LEDs? I have them on my Tundra. I also have Opt7s on my Tacoma. Compared to the Opt7s I'm disappointed in the GTRs. BTW the GTRs are almost 2.5 times the price.

This was a while ago, but Toytec Radflo 3/1.5, BDS UCA and not pictured a CMC. Wheels and tires are next: Ambit RS02 18X9 +0 and Ridge Grappler 285/70/18, hopefully minimal to no trimming with all this caster I've got now!

 

Artic coating. Guys this shit is sick. It literally looks and feels like there is a sheet of glass on the truck. Being like wax timesx1000, and when dries looks like a crystal layer, I guess it's not too far off. Here's just a couple photos. Have a bunch more just updated build thread with more info.
