Just replaced my cabin air filter today at 26k. Actually wasn't too bad.

I did mine a few weeks ago ~22
I did mine a few weeks ago, ~22k miles, with the K&N. It makes a huge difference in smell and I was surprised at what was in the OEM filter.

It took over 2 hours to drop the headliner. We went slow, learning how each piece was installed. We could do it quicker now.

Taking the roof panel down is a little bit of work. The biggest part of the work is removing all the ceiling grab bars, side pillar trim, visors, center lights, overhead console and then drop the roof panel. Here’s the breakdown on the ceiling fasteners and removal process. 09AA7621-E4AE-4C4B-BFA8-A757AAC51CAC.jpg AA0608FF-3C50-4FFD-A0CD-5E036E6E5B33.jpg

I did just the roof for now since I had the roof liner down for roof rack. I’m going to do the whole cab next. The food made a big difference for sound and heat from the sun. I was very impressed with the combination of dynamat extreme and the 1/4” dynaliner.

Since you don’t have a roll down rear window you may have a harder time getting the headliner out.

1 big difference I noticed that u will have to account for, prob pretty obvious, and I don't know the answer, but I noticed in the pic that the head liner seems to be taken out the back window. I'm not sure how it would be removed considering in the dc, the back window does not retract. Just an observation and something I wondered myself when I saw the provided illustrated instructions. Good luck with it though.

Guess it was put in before the back window or windshield was installed at the factory.

Yup.. that's a King 800lb coil spring that just snapped on me.. on pavement.. at a parking lot.. while going over a speed bump. After all the wheeling I've done with my truck in the 2 years I since I got these coils on, the spring decided to give up over a freaking speed bump at 5mph.

I have the 3/1 ready lift level kit. Had some slight rubbing at full turn so removed both front mud flaps.

Had an accident with my 2016 Tundra TRD Pro REAR bumper so I upgraded to a Magnum with sensors rear and traffic all steel 150 lbs. It matches the Magnum step rails.i also installed in channel wind deflector and installed a front receiver for my surf fishing rods.

New member here and have a quick question. I just bought a 2018 Toyota Tundra Crew Max and noticed that the O-Shit handle on the front passengers side has a different color than the rest of the cab interior. It almost looks a little pinkish like it has been swapped out and the color was not an exact match. Not sure if this is a normal thing or if I need to take it in to the dealer to get it checked out. Please let me know if you have any experience with this issue or not. I dont have a picture right now but I will try to get one uploaded today when I get home. Thanks

That'll happen. If springs see lots of heavy use they should be replaced annually. Just be glad it didn't happen on the highway at speed.

They break on our race cars every now and then too.

Someone was telling me that King's coils are also made with a cheaper quality. Have any knowledge or truth behind that? Should I go with Eibach?

I haven't heard that. But I haven't heard any bad things about Eibach either. Have you contacted KING about it?

My suggestion is to get the 3.0 King shock, and if you're not already doing so - inspect your coils every time you service the truck (wash, oil, etc.) Sometimes, you can catch a hairline crack before it gets worse and snaps on you. The 800lb coil is what I would stick with, with all of the weight you're running.

Thanks for the advice. Yea, I'm 99% sure the springs mostly failed because of the Coachbuilder tie rod ends. They're really thick and at full lock they run on the springs; thus, wearing down the powdercoat, which I was aware of, and leading to rust. I'm taking my tie rod ends off when I get new springs put on. The 800lb coil was way too stiff and the front barely flexed, which is why I'm just going to go down in rate but run a 2" longer spring to avoid preload.
