Whoops did it again. Just pulled the trigger on the upper rails for the bedslide and the 5 bin package deal. Will throw the pics up when I get it all and have chance to install it.
I'm hoping the setup will better suit my needs and will look like this when all done.

This is awesome, where did you purchase from? Does it add a lot of weight back there?

Tnx. I bought the slide and mounting rails privately for 400. The slide when it was new sells for about 1200. The rest of the setup I bought last night directly from bedslide, the co that obviously makes the bedslide lol. The install kit, basically 4 bolts and anchors was 15, the upper rail retro kit which allows u to mount the 2 upper long bins was 269. The 5 bins, 2 upper, 2 lower all mount on rails, plus the 1 cross bin that lays on slide they have a 5 bin package deal for like 419. The owner gave me a code for 10% off if I bought last night so for it all it was like 630. Anything ordered over 99 qualifies for free shipping.

I loved my last setup. The only thing was with the bedslide it sits 4 inches up from bed floor. With the DB cross bin being 8 inches deep I would've lost that upper area to store load things toward the front of the cab if I left it. I wanted to have access and be able to load cargo from front to rear so I decided to go this route.

The bedslide does add weight. It's about 188 lbs and u can feel it back there. However after driving around a few days without the permanent install I decided it's not enough weight and doesn't sacrifice the ride quality enough to keep me from doing. The bins I doubt add much weight at all. It's all in the slide. The extra weight makes my truck feel a little softer in the suspension. Since the weight is evenly distributed across the floor it doesn't impact handling too much. U can feel it's there but it's not bad.

Install went pretty smooth. The video 12voltsolutions made explains and shows everything you need to do. Install is about an hour. Only one wire to cut and solder. It was to small for my strippers so I used and utility blade. It took me a couple times to program the key. But I’m sure it was operator error. I was getting excited to see it work.

The biggest pain was when the steering wheel locked up on me removing the 2 screws on the column. You can’t start the truck with it locked. Had to put the key to auxiliary and turn the wheel to the “free side” to unlock it. I’d do that first before you tear the dash apart.

Everything went back together easily and the unit fits in the kick panel.

I backed into a concrete pillar in a parking garage.....luckily the hitch reciever sticks out a bit further than everything else and took 100% of the tap.

I should go buy a lottery ticket.

Found a cap for my truck - Only took 1 year of searching:
    20180601_150809.jpg

Which made me have to do a rush job on the bed rail system to attach cap ( Didn't have time to paint):
    20180601_150827.jpg

And finally found my BAM Muffler - again 1 year of searching, but who can beat $400.00 for new. :

I wish I had been so lucky this week... I was backed into while I was in Lowe’s, missed the hitch and bumper and gave me a nice little dent in the tailgate and the need for some paint....
to brighten my spirits though I installed some NFAB predator pro nerf bars, and my stubby antenna arrived so that’s installed now too. Now just waiting on the plasti dip to dry on the chrome cup holder so I can reinstall that along with the Tufskinz inserts.

Thanks all were fairly simple. I did have a hiccup with a couple, didn't know they were 1 way. So I had to pull and turn them around.

They are nice on the cement. They are the Autosaver88 from Amazon. Basically Winjet knockoffs, but cheaper, better reviews and good fitment. Very easy swap and install, just provide your own reverse lights. This is with the VLEDsSmartSelect_20180601-231908_Gallery.jpg

A little of this and a little of that.

Did you have to solder the wires from the back of the tail light to the truck wiring? Or is it plug and play? I can't tell from the Amazon description vs. conflicting pics...

It was all plug and play! Two stock, light housings, unclip from wiring harness and clip to replacement. The 3rd you use your reverse bulb.
