That’s what I want but spending way to much on mods. Wife not liking that.

Put a K&N cabin air filter in Saturday, smells better inside now. I was surprised at what the stock one looked like after 19k miles.

What rack did that start as @Vizsla? I like the looks of it and am in the need for something that doesn't make me look like a painter.

Toytecs; I just couldn't justify the price for Coachbuilders even though I know know they are a very good product as well.

i put the Toytec's on too and it was a job lol. Did exactly what the video showed but the leaf spring wouldn't lower enough so tried all kinds of things then finally had to put a cheap jack between the spring and bed frame and that worked! How did you do yours? Curious to know

Next time, give Toytec a call and ask for Bijan with support. He’d be happy to walk you through it.

Did u remove both wheels and removed both shackles before installing? Or did you do one side at a time? When I did my buddies we did one side at a side at a time and it wouldn’t droop low enough. We had to pry it down to get the shackles on.

When I installed mine I removed both sides first and that let it droop and install way easier.

At first I hadn't removed my wheels so it wasn't even close. Once I did that I was able to pull them down far enough to get most of it through, then I just used a dead hammer to tap it lightly on the other side. It took a lot of struggle though to get that first part through. I'm a large man and I was basically hanging off the leaf while I was trying to get the bolt through. I wanted to make sure the pumpkin was supported the whole time but even if I dropped it so far that the jack wasn't touching (I was very careful with lines, etc.), it was still not enough. So I just jacked it up a bit and pulled on it.

I did both sides at the same time but still had a hard time getting the leaf low enough for the shackle.

I'm wondering - was there a difference in mileage between you and your buddy's trucks? I know the leafs flatten over time or constant heavy loads, just wondering if that might have an effect.
