Weather techs are great mats. I’ve always had husky liners and fount that there slippery compared to my techs. Ya the passenger mat slips around a little, I put some sticky back Velcro, the hook side, on the back of the mat and it does not budge at all. Nice simple fix. I recommend weather tech.

@canadianguy we're the Husky matts you had Weatherbeaters? I understand those have a plastic-y (hard, slippery feel) surface (but don't actually slip/ move around), whereas the Husky Xact Contours have more of a mat non-slip surface... and also don't slip around on the floor.

Yes they were always the weatherbeater mats. That’s what they carry mostly up here selling the weatherbeater name cause all the crappy weather.

@TTU19 also, how did you get the little badge that says TUNDRA for the mats? That's sweet!

I have Weathertechs, and all i did to keep my passenger one from sliding was take the back end of a bastard file, the part you put in a handle, heat it up, and melt a hole in front of each seat mount. Then i took 2 big black zip ties and put them through the holes and around the mounts for the seats. This has done an awesome job of holding the mats in place and nobody has noticed the zip ties yet. Also, you can just lift the front of the mat up to vacuum under it without taking the zip ties out. I did it this way so i wouldnt tear up the carpeting under the mat over time. 1515775298683879879684.jpg

Look what showed up today, new shackles brackets. Weather warms up I will install these, my ARB compressor and my Pro Grill, my powerstop rotors and pads and by then I should have my Baja fogs.

I did the exact thing couple months ago. mine look just like that, but I added some air bubbles and creases for character. ( first time playing with the wrap and heat gun). Have some cheap Chinese wrap that I have wrapped about everything I can grab in the man cave. Gotta practice before I use the good stuff again.

Hondo vent mounts arrived last night, they are SOLID.

wrap in general is pretty cheap. the vvivid stuff i used was $12 off Amazon for a 1.5'x5' roll. i can probably do the whole interior if i wanted too.
just take your time with it and use a good heat gun. good vinyl is very pliable and easy to work with

I like the look of the CF wrap. I'd like to see the info about it on your build thread. Is there a shortcut or link to your build thread? Search didn't help.

    EDIT - Nevermind, found it

The cheap wrap I'm practicing with cost me 15$ for 6 rolls of 12" by 5 feet. Have some vivid CF waiting for a nice weekend to redo everything. Watched a couple Youtube vid's to see some different technique's.

Firestone Airbags; remote starter; replaced stock mirrors with larger, pull-out mirrors for towing; hard plastic sectional cover for bed.
Got off work early so she was at 24,900 so stopped in at the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation. (They sent me a coupon for $20 off the service) I asked them about the black weather strips on the roof (both are lose and the car wash almost rips them off) They said it's not covered on warranty. So I got a tube of clear silicon adhesive that says it doesn't ruin car paint and put a few dabs every 4-6 inches and pressed it back down...seems to have taken nicely...now I can go through the car wash again!!

The dealer had a 2018 Sequioa (chocolate brown) inside and it's SWEET! Fully loaded and also a fully loaded price, $67K....holy crap my first house I bought in 1990 was only $65K and it was new! (West Texas) They also had a 2018 Tacoma that was originally $39K but they had it all decked out and it's going for $51K...it was a great looking truck, though.
