I have both the NSV and RC light bars. As stated the hood buldge is cosmetic and does not allow any air flow stock so adding the nsv should be a factory option in my opinion. I like making use of wasted space.
The RC bumper bar sits in front of a cross member i believe. So again no loss in airflow.

There are multiple guys putting light bars behind the grill. I'd be interested if they've noticed anything with the engine running hotter, but I doubt they would really impact it much.

@Sting Ray, can you tell me why you chose the Husky xact, instead of the Husky Weatherbeaters?

I'm planning to push "buy" later today, but haven't found much online comparison of the two. I understand one feels more slick like plastic (Weatherbeaters) and one more rubbery (xact). What are your thoughts?

ANYONE else willing to chime in here too, let me know which of these 2 you chose, and why?

I have the XAct Huskys and they are awesome. Heard the same about the weather beaters, plastic like and hard to deal with. These are more rubbery and feel like a tough all weather mat. It was my first purchase almost 2 years ago and these things still look brand new when I clean them up. Not hardly a scratch on them. plus you can get some custom inserts for the xact from @Achuop!!!DA18362E-5450-47A7-B90B-C00C519747B3.jpg

Never had weathertech mats but from what i read they used to be good and then they changed and are now not so good. I couldn't be happier with my huskey xact contours. They fit perfectly and the rear flattened out after a couple days as it now fits perfectly as well. Here's a pic right after install. I taped the corners on the rears for the first day. Got them from josh hesson at SVcustoms cheapest price around. IMG_5866.jpgIMG_5867.jpg

Oops sorry just saw you were asking about the weather beaters not the weather techs. I liked the looks of these ones better and I think these are the newer model?

Looks good, and I think that's at the back of the engine compartment, on the passenger side-? Please will you add one more pic from further back, so we can see an overview? What I can see looks really good!

I'll try to get more photos tomorrow when I put it back together. I'm not gonna finish the install until after I meet up with @renosauce .
And yes, passenger side. I also want to incorporate a mount for the secondary air pump filters.

I installed a weboost (Wilson) cell booster. Started off doing a trick install documentary and then got so pissed that I just stopped taking pictures.

While I was waiting for the drill battery to charge up again, I thought I’d tackle getting the 3rd brake light off to get the outside antenna installation done. What a pain in the ass! I found a couple of threads that helped me, but I was NOT expecting what I found. Apparently the previous owner had it off too and to reinstall, he used Liquid Nails. LIQUID NAILS!! What a nightmare. 4 hours and 3 razor blades later, it was off. Which brings me to ask, can you look up previous owners by VIN? I’d like to Liquid Nails this guy’s dick to his asshole and see how he likes getting fucked by it!!!

[my one and only doc photo - mounted the inside antenna up under the console lid.]
