    Thanks you too.

Do you know if his remote tunes are detectable at the dealership? I remember reading it is but if he tunes it in person it’s undetectable?

I taped it off and used 6 coats of black plasti dip and 2 coats of glossifier. Holding up great for the last 4 months and approximately 5000 miles.

Yes that's correct. Remote is detectable and in person is not. But remote can be installed and removed at will where in person can not.

I'm not sure about the in person undetectable tune. I only know for sure what I got, the remote tune I have the ability to upload and take off as much as I want. If I didn't remove before going in for engine warranty work they could detect. But short of that I don't see much of a reason to uninstall. However, for anyone who wanted to remove before any dealer visit has that option with the remote tune. I prefer that option.

Even better! They included a set of T10/194 bulbs because of a delay in shipping and I just replaced my license plate lights with LED in the freezing cold as well. First pic the led is only on the right, stock on the left. Second pic is both replaced.

"forded" the truck! Thanks to bluebottle for the link to the light link on Amazon. Trimmed and painted the lights. Wired up to ign circuit via an add a circuit so they are always on.

Looked at the Cool Springs site and the pro grill and bulge is $200 off. So yup, ordered it. I can use my original for some of the insert type grills down the road without fear of f n it up and being grilless. Roman said its in stock and will ship the next couple days. Sorry, I've been AFK for a hot minute. I skimmed real quick to see at least a couple responses to the first question...

Our plan at the moment is to have SDHQ make a set for us based on their off-the-shelf version. We also don't want them to stick out much and therefore will have them made with either shorter ladder tubes, or none at all and just have the two main tubes welded directly to each other (or possibly just a slightly longer stand off and use a single tube). We're also looking into extending them a little farther back so they cover as much as the White Knuckles.

For us it's a matter of weight savings since they use 4130 chrome moly, and strength since it's connected at the body mount (although our body mount is chopped all to fuck, I don't really know how they're going to attach it there :D). If we can find a good way to add a frame brace closer to the rear, we're interested in doing that as well.

Quick question on the retrofit guys. I need some opinions. I'm going to take them apart and paint them flat black inside. I've got some apollo 3.0 shrouds with a Halo inside to light up the openings with my DRL's. On my old truck when I did the headlight I painted the front edge red. Should I do something similar with these shrouds, or just paint everything flat black? If I did something similar I found a light blue that might look good against an all black housing and shroud . I've included pictures of my old light to show what I mean, but the red ring would be the blue, the can of paint I would use for the blue, and what the shroud will look like backlit. Also should I tint the orange side reflector gray-ish or leave it orange? Let me know what you think!

I was looking at the BRP grill inserts but I would still have the chrome with black plastidip around it. For 435 painted grill and hood bulge it was a no brainer. Now as long as ups doesn't destroy it during Xmas maddnes.....

They look good to me. I had to hold mine in a lined up position then tighten the bolts down. If you get a 96% fit or more on aftermarket I would say its good.

I think you sold me on those tail lights. Was worried about the fit issue. Really was waiting for retro tails but thats gonna be a while.

    2014 BRM CM TRD
Totally agree, the difference between these and stock was less than an eighth of an inch. I was concerned it would be much worse.

I read some bad stories about quality control with these, but for the money I’m happy!
