What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed a y pipe and a Carven muffler in place of the stock muffler.
Sounds amazing and zero drone.

 

Received my Natika front mount camera today which will be connected to the Frac Harness.

 

Wheels came in today. Christmas in July. I’m excited to install these later this week.

 

Now you need to decide how to mount it. Lots of good ideas in the FRAC thread.

Most likely going to copy @BlueBottle for the location of the camera and the switches.

@BlueBottle , Do you recall the drill bit size needed for the switches?

 

For the record, I only like the Tundra stuff. I am very sorry to hear about your back and hope you make a full recovery quickly. Stay safe my friend.

Hopefully your pictures convince me to do mine. I have the exact same parts sitting in my garage.

 

Mine might be sitting for a while. Had shoulder surgery in May and just had my 8 week follow up today. The Dr. told me I still can't lift anything over 5lbs for another 2 months . Got a few mods pending right now. Probably looking at mid September for my install at this point.

Correct. From what I've seen from a few other members posts that have done it, whatever color your truck is, that's the color under the black vinyl tape.

My truck sat outside in the sun and 80 degree weather that particular day so I just peeled a bottom corner up and continued peeling. Came off in pretty large pieces. If I used a heat gun it may have made it even smoother coming off. Cleaned up any residue with some wax and detail cleaner.

 

Nice, Fill is in. What is the off set and size of wheel. What size tire. They will look good on your LunaRock!!

Thanks for the offer! I think I'll just keep this and a few other mods for later to install. I'm not really in a rush for any of them to get installed, but would like them done before Tundras to Sedona which I should be able to accomplish. At least September will be slightly cooler weather.

Sorry. Just saw this. I will be going out to do some work on it in a couple of hours. I will snap a pic from the backseat and get the entire dashboard.

 

Im sure its no problem. Shes gonna cut another one when she gets home from work. I want an oblong cut into it for the key slot. The first one i hand cut with a exacto knife and i dont like it. The crikut will be perfect.

 

NASA plates are available in VA (only use 6 letters)... corny or cool?.... your thoughts....

 

I would say nonsensical. 99.9999% of the people that even care to read a license plate will have no idea. And those that know..don't need to be told.

 

call me biased but I like it. As long as it doesn’t accidentally read like something else embarrassing, who cares if others “get it”.
