Added some much needed color to the front of the Tundra, and installed the RC light bar that's been sitting in my garage for awhile now. Don't have it wired up yet as I'm not sure which switch option I want to go with yet.

@a522467 I think all I'm missing is the windshield tint and we be twins! Different grilles so ill settle for fraternal twins not identical.

Made a sink attachment for my drawer system this afternoon. Leftover piece of maple veneer plywood, some L brackets I had and the collapsible sink. Even has a cut out for my sprayer. Need to get some better hinges though for the support legs or figure something else out as they broke pretty much immediately! Stained it the same color as the drawer after these pics were taken.

Also added a 1/4” aluminum plate to the bottom of my water tank. When the tank was full the bottom was sagging so needed this for rigidity. Will also help if anything happens to hit the bottom.

Got a couple pm's about this so copied what I said,
"I replaced door speakers first thing, went with something Churchfield recommended before I found out about JRT. I got a sub with 2 10" JL's and a 500 watt JL amp from JRT at Tech 12v, happy enough without a aftermarket head unit. James posted about that dash speaker last week on Tundra Crew and I figured at $79 why not. I don't have an ear for high fidelity, usually just turn up the bass on Ozzy's Boneyard. I did hear a difference."

Kinda why I got a SxS. Easier to risk a toy than my daily driver. Once you decide what you are getting, and especially once you have it, pop into the ATV thread to let us drool! https://www.tundras.com/threads/atv-utvs-and-accesories.11498/

That's one hell of a set up! :eek2: Do you have a build thread, or a thread about that drawer system? I swear I saw it somewhere, but didn't pay attention. Now that I am looking at getting my truck set up for camping this looks frickin' sweet!

Thanks! No official build thread .. just the tundras.com tinkerer doing his thing as ideas pop in my head. I thought about it but at this point I'd have to document way too much stuff that's already been done. A bunch of it is on this thread but if you do have any questions about something just reach out and I'll help if I can! Next project (just waiting on some parts that Amazon screwed up and sent me the wrong stuff) is a residential 330W solar panel on the roof ... I'm partial to the "go big or go home" mindset .

Send me a PM and we can go over the drawer system if you're interested.

Removed the tent and rack, going up FOR SALE (see Marketplace-other). Ended up putting the rack back on the truck cuz it wouldn't fit in the trailer and didn't want to disassemble it.

Care to share why you are selling? Just curious as I am researching racks and tents.

I’d recommend just rotating it 180 degrees. It’s faster in rally cap mode..

I'm happy with my Japanese import smoked oems on my 4runner. Don't think miromoto makes anything for my old runner.

Do you know if that bumper will connect to a RCI skid plate?

    I must be getting old.

When I bought the truck it had 37s on stock gears and a bully dog tuner to attempt to make it driveable. Since I installed 5.29's I decided to try un-tuning it. The accelerator pedal response is slow, the gears shift so early in the rpms and shifts are so smooth. It's probably mostly just the pedal response which is why people love those pedal commanders so much. But with all this loss of power I can run 87 octane again.

In conclusion, I like it so far.

The truck has an RCI front skid plate. The bumper doesn’t touch the plate at all. There is lip at the back of the bumper that stops short of the skid plate. I’ll try to grab a couple of pics today.

Installed an ADARAC M-Series with four RockyMounts BrassKnuckles bike racks. Now we can take the bikes when we go camping and still have covered storage in the bed under the rollup tonneau.

Finally got around to installing the RCI Bed Rack. RCI changed their rack design a bit on the shoulders, it now has rivets and a more modern design. I think it also has more slots on the cross bars, not sure though. It also comes with 9/16 hardware vs the 3/8 their instructions say. All in all, very happy with the rack, it's very solid clamped in by the bed cover. I didn't drill into the bed, I wasn't ready to do that on a truck with 11,000 miles, but if needed I can do it in the future.InkedIMG_3121_LI.jpg IMG_2950.jpg IMG_2951.jpg IMG_2952.jpg

Soon to be 4WC Raven host. Mods to come.
@equin The pix you posted appear to show the plates looking a little rough/oxidized. Is that an accurate appearance? Did they come looking like that? My RCI aluminum engine skid came looking like a mirror for reference.

I didn't want to do any drilling either, which is what I liked about the ADARAC. It uses inserts that drop into the stake pockets and then clamp to the side rails for a drill-free install. That RCI rack looks like it'll support a lot more weight. That should be great for RTT.

Hauled five loads of bag mulch from LOWE’S over the weekend. Best calculation, about 1,500 lbs each load. Of course, no problem for the truck, but was impressed how little sway there was with the sway bar. Noticeable from other trucks I’ve had. Fender height was two inches lower with the load.

Mine are the 1/4" bare aluminum, but I'm not sure why they look like that in the pics. They didn't look like that when I unboxed them 15 minutes prior to installing, but they weren't a mirror finish, either. Despite my best efforts, it's possible they got scratched or dirty from the parking lot asphalt and maybe even the Igloo cooler, which admittedly wasn't the cleanest when I used it to prop up the back end.

Curious, did you rotate it for better fitment because of a rear lift? I ask because I have the rear TRD Pro sway bar also, and am considering a 1" rear shackle lift.

You placed yourself + 1,500 pounds in the rear of your truck?

What's your payload rating? Running bags? Sumo Springs? Shackles?

Thanks I have the skid and want the bumper. Surprised at the answer.
    Thanks for the pics.
One more forgot to ask what winch did you go with? I am thinking about the Badlands 12k.

Is there a write-up somewhere on what needs to be installed for the easiest possible oil changes (like not having to remove a skid plate and having an easy way to drain and replace the filter)?

I have a 3/2" Readylift with spacers in the skid plate. I also have spacers on the front sway bar, which I've heard make it difficult/impossible to install an easy access skid plate.

Soon to be 4WC Raven host. Mods to come.
Cool, thanks for your time. Not that it really matters as it is gonna get weathered regardless. Just curious.
