A little of this and a little of that.
I never needed any tailgate seal to keep water out of my bed with the X2. @Alloutdrs1 I would try using a pressure washer on it before you invest time and money into something you probably don't need. My X2 sits so tight against the tailgate it keeps water out on its own. *food for thought*

^^ Def agree. I've some daylight from the corners so I'm assuming it will be needed but will check first as well.

Sounds good guys, @Cat3ILS thanks for the install tips! I will also check to see how weathertight it is before I invest in the tailgate seal as well.

Success! Finished up the x2 install. Just have to run to home Depot now and get some bolts so I can mount the straps since I don't have a rail to slide it into.20170406_103613.jpg 20170406_103649.jpg

Assume one on each side...is it enough? Do you switch it from the rear or did you bring it up front inside?

1 on each side. I still have to bring the wiring to the cab and tie it into the cargo light.. So it will go on everytime the cargo light comes on. I will post some results on my build thread once its complete. I'm also installing a pop lock at same time.

Thanks and I agree....it really, IMO, cleans up the front end and just makes it look "right" kinda.
