A little of this and a little of that.
As far as the lift is concerned I believe you've gotta ask yo'self what is the truck going to be used for. Off road or street queen? 50% 50%? You start getting too high and your center of gravity gets all off.

That's a 6 inch pro with 37 tires and 22 rims.. I was thinking if I went 5 inch lift with 35's and 22's or 20's I'd have that same look just an inch shorter but also smaller tire so it would look same

Majority for sure on street. I just love the look.. but I'm going to run 35's not 37's so I will have more space between the wheel and truck so that's why I'm thinking maybe the 5 inch zone. That ways it would even it out

Well I've thought it enough that I think I'm correct about the diff between mine and the pic I just showed.. I could be wrong cause I reallly don't know shit :( have t spoke to Chris yet. I was talkin to Toy tec about their product as well.. I was confused about blocks and shackles is one in place of the other or they both go together . I need a map cause I'm so lost in all this.. bit I am learning.. so that's why all the noob ?'s I ask

You only use blocks or shackles, not both. Shackles are better than blocks.

Ordered a pre-built Bussmann RTMR, wire harness and pre-wired switchbacks from a Tacoma world member a few weeks ago. It just came it, I should be set for all electrical additions for a while.

Finally cleaned out my bed, removed my 8ft gm bed mat and installed a Westin bed mat made to fit the tundra. Was going to go oem but this was $76 shipped so that was a no Brainer. I do a lot of painting work and would rather have any spills/drops happen on the rubber mat, as you can see from the pictures the one in my Silverado served it's purpose.

Also received my tracking number for my revolver x2 from supersilvertundra! Finally get my bed organized threw everything in the tundra real quick when I traded my silvy for the tundra.

Just put my Dupli Color matched grill, surround and bulge back on. The color is Magnetic Gray Metallic and the color matches super well, at least to my and my wife's eyes.

My only problem was I couldn't get the clear thick enough to get that high gloss. It's got seven coats. It shines and it looks a thousand times better than the chrome, but I feel like all my effort was a waste and I may as well have done the whole thing in flat like the grill insert. That looks really good.

This was before I hit it with compound, polish and wax.

This is a close up between factory and bulge now.
    c50848ee7dfcde792eb84a82dada1245_654da8e4b6998acc9d002d66da9c880abfe078ff.jpg

This Rustoleum went on the grill insert. It's bullet proof (I was trying to scratch it up) and matches that factory bumper center super well.

Oh well, now what else can do for under $100. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting that Rustoleum on the bumpers next.

@cd121082 i would clean very well dish soap and water (no abrasives) wax and grease after and use a good adhesion promoter before putting base coat down.

pretty easy instal on the ESP storage.. looks like it came that way.. fits perfect.. left the carpet cut out on the bottom of them so keep metal from touching. Lights were simple to do. Came out nice and clean.. thanx @TruckinIt :oldglory:
