Everyone doing all kinds of mods. I'm pretty much done with mine. Just enjoying driving it.

Washed it Friday. It stayed clean for a few days. Already rained again.

Best window visor? I dont want the round ones you have to fold back up. I like the solid one that fold across. Anyone recommend what they use and like?

Got a teaser pic of the seats that will be arriving Thursday! Turned out even better than I had imagined, can't wait to get them installed in the truck this weekend (at least the back seats, may not get to the fronts until the following weekend)

if you’re referring to the windshield sunshade...

my personal favorite is from “Heat Shield Store” (heatshieldstore.com), similar can be had from weathertech. I’ve had my hands in the CoverCraft visors and are fairly impressive as well, not sure of long term durability for the CC units, but Ican personally attest to owning the HSS units for 10+ years of daily use.

I will do that to the best of my ability. Fingers crossed I don't screw something up with this whole process. I had to redo my cushion in my '08 Ram 2500 so I know I can take a seat apart and put it back together again.

WKOR sliders installed. Went back to the website for install directions and also noticed the price has gone up, kind of figured that was coming with the way metal prices have been.

yeah we have had a few of them come though the dealership. ive personally handled about 20 of them on the prius, a handful on sequoias, and 2 on the tundras. www.getcatsecurity.com is supposed to be coming out with a cat shield for the Tundra soon

There is a vendor here in the forum that makes them already. Now I'm just waiting for someone to make one for the 4Runners before they start getting hit.

From that article: "When the air is cooler, it contains more oxygen."

I'm having a very hard time with that statement. I would be curious to know the reasoning behind that statement. Complete with references.

My older brother inherited the Steinway that my dad rebuilt back in the 70's - about 2,500 rolls with it, split between standard and Duo-Art. He's been muttering about repairing the player action (FINALLY - after 20+ years!) and is talking about thinning down the herd of rolls. Told him I want first dibs. Pity I won't be able to talk him out of The Midnight Fire Alarm or Wedding of the Winds - he loves those rolls as much as I do.

Its a simplification of the Ideal Gas Law. The cooler the temp, the more O2 modules in the same volume of air.

It’s an override to do what the other button does, but on the fly, with only one push, instead of stopping and holding factory button a few seconds, letting off and holding a few seconds again.

This is one quickie, and it is completely unrelated to engines, but it's well known that all engines make more power when the air is cooler. This is why computer controlled engines have an IAT or air intake temperature sensor so the computer can compensate as needed based on air temp. This is also why people put cold air intakes on vehicles to increase power output.

Cooler air is more dense than warmer air. Warm air can actually hold more moisture because molecules are farther apart, making more room for moisture. Cold air is dense and compact; it's "thicker," so when you breathe in you get more oxygen. Thicker air also means there's more for a crane's wings to push against.
