Love the color of your Tundra. Is that factory or was that a custom paint job?

Broke her in traveling through the Colorado mountains. 3 weeks old, 2000 mile round trip. Lots of 4x4 and manual shifting due to the steep grades both up and down. She was aces and the cheap TruXedo soft roll up toneau didn't leak through rain, snow and 2 car washes. I guess my only complaint would be that gas cost more than the hotel stays lol.

Also repainted the tow hooks. The Rustoleum gloss cherry red is a pretty close match to the TRD red.

Looks great. Anything special you did to prep the hooks before painting?

not like I should have. They were already painted but had some chips in them and I just scuffed it up and did a quick repaint. The next time they need it I will do better prep for sure.

Went to check the water level at the pond after the storms passed yesterday. The road leading back to it is dozer cut and banked up on one side with some tree roots sticking out. Got a little too close and rubbed hard. No damage to my steps as far as I can tell. They sure saved my rocker and doors.

Depends on your needs. I have a Jeep that I regeared for 37s. I don’t think the tundra needs it...personal opinion.

It’s fine. Still scoots when you need it to. I have experience regearing vehicles and don’t think the tundra needs it.

Do you have any TSS sensor issues so far? Can I also ask for a link? I have been looking for an option that allows sensor to still work, was not sure there was one out there.

Love the Raptor Liner idea. I had one on my old truck and it rusted down low from all the road salt they use here in winter. But it save me from Bambi in the past. (the politicians have issues in my area letting some good hunters take care of the constant deer issue, they prefer we control population with vehicle strikes, ........ idiots :frusty:)

Personally changed my front/rear differential oils and actually easy. Changed the engine oil last week and also easy. Transfer case oil is next on my list,, along with a new leather cover for steering wheel from Loncky that I'm pretty sure to remove the steering wheel to install/stitch.

I went with the lighter spring rate because I do not plan on running a huge bumper winch combo any time soon. I couldn’t find a ton of info on the OME set ups before I got mine but I will say that even the lighter springs will give you over 3” of lift in the front and a 1” block in the back will not compensate to make the truck truly level. I ended up closer to 3.5” front and will be going to a 2” rear block at some point. I guess I could also add a winch to bring the front down a half inch or so too. I think the springs would be completely adequate to handle it. Someone please correct me me if I am wrong on that. I am however completely satisfied with the OME setup. The ride is firm but chews up big bumps. Seems like you feel more small bumps but the big holes that would unsettle the whole truck are now a non issue. I am using the OME rear shocks as well.

1st post! Removed badging. Wasn't fun. Worse than expected. Probably an hour and a half. Probably didn't help that it was only about 34° when I started. Installed color matched handles and mirror covers from Sparks. Easier than expected. Maybe 20 minutes, if that. Also installed Westin HDX drop step nerf bars. No problems with install. Took about 30 minutes for removal of the old pair and install of the new pair. Hoping to find wheels and tires next weekend.

There are four (I think it was four) tabs at the bottom of the cover that you should insert first, and then work your way around the mirror snapping the rest in. Looks like that corner tab didn't get inserted properly.

If I move mine, I would do it that way. Same way the switch is oriented in the 4Runner.

Yes because it's harder to roll rear window down when it's in the normal position. It's more natural the way it sits right now
