285/75 is skinnier than 285/70? Are you sure they don’t just appear that way because 285/75 is taller? They’re both 285mm wide...

I think 285s are perfect on our trucks.

    Not sure at this point.
Did you have to do anything to fit those 0 offset? If you were to go to 17s, would you rub in any way?

I figured they would but why would you need them for powered seats? To get even more height once the seat is fully raised? Just wondering. I run my seat all the way down. Although my passenger seat is not powered.

desertdoesit has something called seat jackers.

Raises the front seat mounts to have a better angle.

Its less about the height and more about the angle. I run my seat all the way up in front and all the way down in the back and I still feel like I'm sitting on a bleacher or an old bench seat from a 60's era pickup truck. There's just not enough angle there for me to feel comfortable.
The seatjackers raise the front 1" to provide a steeper rearward angle so you sit more down and back in the seat instead of just "on" the seat. You'd have to sit in a truck with them and without to really feel the difference, or go sit in a Ford with the seat properly adjusted.

LoL, I know their purpose. I guess I just don't feel I myself would need them. But like I said, I run my seat pretty much all the way down.

I live in Anderson, but have spent many vacations at Myrtle - lots of great memories. Getting a bit too crowded now so spend most of our vacations down at Edisto.

Nice. My parents lived in Greenville right off of I-26. I left in 1991 for the military and have only been back to SC like 3 times since. If you want crowded, try Fl lol. This place is insane. Been here since 1996 and still say WTF on most days lol.

Greenville has grown quite a bit since those days, but still a very nice place to live. I'm a home body so don't roam too far away from the state lines. I hate driving across Anderson in the afternoons, so would spontaneously combust in Fl. LOL. Many Thanks for your service. Our military, police, and first-responders never get the gratitude and recognition deserved.

This was very puzzling for me, so I reached out to Nitto and got an interesting response. As it turns out, they are the same. The discrepancy in “outside diameter” on Nitto’s site is due to the fact that they measured the tires mounted to different width rims.

Interesting. An inch taller, same width, and 10 lbs heavier. More justification to stay with 285/70's.

I think the load rating (126Q vs 124Q) accounts for more of the weight difference than the small difference in tire diameter. RGs are just pretty heavy in general.

    Hi all.
I installed a fuse block and DIN mounted relay module behind the passenger side dash to replace the OCD nightmare spaghetti mess of wires, relays, and fuses that I had accumulated there from last year’s mods. The mess was hidden behind a dash panel, but I still knew it was there.
It’s not perfect, but much cleaner now and I have room for expansion (3 spare fuses and 2 spare relays).
