Maybe just put them on in the regular black to get an idea of how the lines look in black on the new body style? It wouldn't be exactly like the liner, but it would give a close enough idea that you can see if it's the direction you want to go.

No, just go 90 degrees towards the rear so the bar would be basically in line with, or behind the axle.

No. The bumper is a direct fit. It is the Rough Country for the 14 and up. I had it Line-X'ed to match the rest of the truck. I did use the 1/2 inch bumper shims and it lined up perfectly.

I removed the center console box, sat it on the edge of my tailgate, placed the safe in it where I wanted it (front passenger side corner), and used a white grease pencil to reach up from underneath and mark where the hole needed to be drilled in the safe. Then removed the safe and drilled the hole. Then put the console back in place and verified that the holes lined up. Then reinstalled everything and tightened down the bolt. For the bolt, I just used a longer version of the factory bolt.

I just looked up what you were talking about and found a pic. In my case the diff is still the lowest point so I'll likely leave it alone, but it does look neat running in line with the axle.

Just watched it while working out actually. Love the content @2020Platinum

Did you ever end up installing the resonator? I don’t tow very often but my driving is generally 35-40 mph city driving at low RPM or 75-80 freeway driving. Just trying to decide if I want to do the resonator right away or test for a while without.

Definitely run it a few hundred miles without. Unless it's totally unbearable, and you'll know that rapidly. Just my opinion.

Took my 15 year old out for more driving. Introduced him to the 4wd system tonight. Did some driving in a gravel parking lot. He's going to be the only kid he knows that can drive a full-size rig, knows how to use 4wd and can change the oil.

You are correct. When I did mine I started the boring out process then decided against it and just very carefully masked it off. 20200830_163641.jpg

    Thank you sir!
No sir, left resonator off and have no plans on installing it, the sound is perfect for me without it...even with towing the boat it’s awesome, I would def recommend leaving it off to see how ya like it first...you can always go back and install if needed...Thanks for watching!

AJT has a video as others have mentioned, I also have one that goes into a little more detail with how to get those pieces out, and drill out those plastic welds...let me know if I can help ya with any of it...I actually have videos of all AJT product installs, and how to completely disassemble dash for customizing, if you decide to go that route!

Nice. I've gone back and forth about the next mod and this is what I'm going to do. It totally changes the interior and provides some contrast with the cabin chrome making it more tolerable. I put Katzkin leather in my Tacoma in 2012 and it's still going strong even with a terrible dog puking incident a few years ago.

Two years of camping and dog and Skittles and I'm done with the factory Tundra fabric. Later this month my seats should look like yours but with black stitching.

Nothing yet, but headed that way!!!!
What did you go with and are you changing head unit and amp? I spoke to an audio shop who pointed out the difference between the ohms of the head unit vs the new speakers being different and that sound would be effected. I am super interested how it goes for you because the stock is trash!!!
