I posted that link as a warning. DO NOT get those or any letters made from Zinc. Zinc is far too heavy for the crappy adhesive they use on them.

You will love the Katzkin seats. I installed them in 2 trucks and loved them. If you are installing, just be careful with the seat airbags and the Katzkin seats have a tag to indicate the side for the airbag. I disconnected my battery to avoid any possible issues.

Absolutely, this will be 5th Katzkin install, and like always, halfway through I’ll be exhausted and at the end I’ll promise myself I won’t do it again

Yeah that's something i'm not to happy about but thats the only way they fit. The issue is that we have none rectangular hole pattern in the shock tower. And the shocks are driver passenger specific so the mating holes in the top will line up. Unfortunately the hoses were set from the factory in their current orientation so I'm stuck with that slight rub. Once i get my nitro refill kit I'll attempt to adjust the fitting but not looking to adjust while is pressurized at the moment. But yeah I noticed not super happy about it but its ok for the moment.

After all was installed a rxt rear leafs and shocks with leaf option#2 and the front coilovers with 700lb springs 1/4"preload the lift i ended up with was 3" front 3" rear. So i still have the factory rake.

Thanks for posting, I also visited discount tire today to check differences. One thing that is having me lean towards the 4S is the weight difference, it’s like 12 lbs lighter and still looks moderately aggressive but I was going to try and keep the 285 width but damn that adds like $400 to the price of the set so will likely go with 275’s when I do it. Trying to find some new look wheels as well so probably going to try and list my Mavericks and KO2’s to see what I can get for them.

Actually i think they mixed up the shock tower mounts to the shocks cause if you look at the driver shock and flip it into the passenger side it would point in the right direction i think ill be calling icon in the morning. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yea I should probably move the UCAs up higher on my to do list. Some of my alignment numbers looked funky as well.

Wasn't hard at all, a second set of hands would have helped during install of the actual steps but I got it done solo with no issues. The directions quote 3-5 hours to install, I was closer to eight hours, but I work as an Avionics technician and to say I'm a little OCD when it comes to wiring would be the understatement of the year. Running and securing the harness to my liking took a bit of time. Instead of power taps I found the wires that needed to be tapped into and dug into the OEM wiring to a location of my liking and used environmental splices to wire in the steps and then cleaned everything back up to where it looks like a factory install. I don't know if most people would go as far as I did with the wiring but I know it's right and will not cause any issues in the future.

Had a lot going on with my 2015 Crew Max. Getting ready for a week of off-grid riding and fishing in the Big Horns.

New tires and wheels. Went with 305/65-18 in the BFG KO2, I did this primarily because this is the same exact tire and wheel size that I have on my 2005 Land Cruiser. So I had to source the TRD rims, had some Fuel 20" rims with a 33" Nitto Tire. I did not like how they drove and I am personally do not like the tires sticking out from truck. And since I was near the end of life on the current battery I decided to upgrade to the Northstar and redid the terminals with and tie down with SDHQ product which are really nice. New shoes and rims deserved a new suspension so added front and rear Icon with a new leaf pack on the rear. Did not do the UCA at this time and I hope that I do not regret that. Upgraded the brakes with some slotted rotors and ceramic pads to improve the stopping. Always thought it was just horrid before, it so much better. And last night I finally installed the RCI Engine and transmission skid plates. I did the powder coated aluminum. Very impressed with this product. Took me about 2 hours to install solo and I am somewhat sad that I probably spent 30 or more minutes trying to figure out the "retaining washer". I am in no pro-mechanic but I have done a lot of work on various cars and work on machines in the plant all the time. How I have never encountered this small mystery before I am not sure, but I could not figure it out. Decided to move on when I saw that the back bolts had the same type of washer and a bit of a description of how to get them down the longer bolt, and it all finally came together how they work. I would guess we have all had something befuddle us before that turned out be something simple, but I have never seen these before and was more than flustered trying to figure it out and a bit ashamed when I did that it took so long. But I prevailed and could not be happier.

Have them welded then get both sides bed lined. That should cover up the weld marks.

I have been very impressed. They have been on for while. I had debated earlier about getting the rear sway bar, but these have improved the ride to the extent that I am no longer considering the sway bar. I have not been off doing any real off-roading so that will be the bigger test.

finished color matching my front end chrome delete and light wiring for my EAG grille! I placed amber lamin-x onto my fog lights in place of the yellow to match better to the running lights. Wired the running lights to the purple wire on my side marker light on one of my headlights for power. Also the fog lights would shake when I hit a bump, nothing a few strategically placed zip ties couldn’t take care of! Also went with blacked out TRD license plate frame to complete the blacked out look. I also adjusted the fog lights down half a turn of the adjuster dial to account for my leveling kit. Could not be happier with how it turned out!!
