Plenty planned thanks to all of you.
I can't disagree with you! It's one of the few Tundra colors where the chrome actually works!

20170629_181142.jpg got home today and the wife had these waiting for me. Definitely a surprise that I was wanting. Guess the retro fit will be back burner for now. Completely plug and play and pretty decent output. Will wait for nighttime for a good shot of the output. Tundra on fellas!!!

Figured out how to get the wife to stop asking about the mods. Do a couple to her ride as well. :)

I notice you have the stock TRD wheels and your truck leveled, did you have any rubbing on the skid plate doing a hard left turn? I saw from your posts that you have some spacers so possibly I need to look into that.

I'm usually not a chrome guy, but I have to agree. I thought I might hate the chrome grille and bumpers, but I'm kind of liking the look right now. Might do a grille insert one day, but I'd probably still keep the surround chrome. Bumpers will probably only be de-chromed if I splurge for new bumpers. I really like the Fab Four rear bumper, but haven't found a front bumper that wows me.

Plasti dip or? You should replace that stock shift knob with one from Toytec so it's black as well.

Yeah, get the shift knob when it comes out. Nothing feels better than a smooth black knob in your hands . . .

Here are some pics of my new custom, aluminum ladder rack, which I had customized to also haul very long kayaks (up to 24'). Custom features? The walk boards, ladder, removable kayak saddles with loading rollers, not to mention the diamond plate mounting so it fits over my cap. The diamond plate is bent inside the bed and mounted to the Toyota bed load system. I had the rear bar extended so it goes out further than the cap window when open so I can put a strap from the bar to a load hanging out and protect the window when putting loads onto the rack. It only weighs around 100#'s and doesn't change the ride, but it does dent the gas mileage around 2 mpg. The noise was terrible from 65-85, but with a fairing it is silent to 50 and barely noticeable to 70. Made by the guys at Ryder Racks in Wilmington NC.
