    Good morning razor!

Yeah I am going with 8K. I do like blue tint to my headlights and I've been running 8K for the last few years. Was thinking about trying something new but my interior LEDs are all 8K as well and I figure I'll just stick with what I know I like.

Thanks, I think it looks a lot better now with the tires and face lift up front. The tires are 275/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler ... approx one inch taller than stock. No lift right now, just the larger tires. I sold my stock Michelins to a guy with a Tundra identical to mine this week and while our trucks were parked side-by-side mine looked a couple inches taller than his. I know it wasn't more than an inch taller than his but the tires definitely make it look larger. It still has more rake than I want and I plan to add a mild lift to the front to level it, but my wife told me I'm done with the truck for a while after adding the tires and color matched goodies up front ... lol.

After I buttoned up the front end the other day I showed my wife and told her I was "done" for now, and she said I meant I was "done" with the truck. I just laughed and mentioned it needed a mild lift next and she gave me the look ... lol.

Installed a magnetic quick draw gun mount today. Simple concept but it works great. c571a3c2d42bc1402a24542d5ac76fa0_f8ce63f3316e7382b3c4ab8cd243f8d8e7027f94.jpg1157ca7be41e1d5ec6fc0a705e322014_18c462100d141bd0aeeda13efdf326021ea5db00.jpgPro

Is that magnetic? Does it work with a holster? Would* want to have trigger exposed like that.

    *Edit: wouldn't not would.

It is magnetic. I believe the magnet is capable of holding 25 lbs. but for a holster carry I would probably use a different mount.Pro

Excuse the dirty truck but it's -10 up here and the salt is brutal. Just too cold to wash right now.
Thanks for the quick pointers @joonbug - got my map and dome lights swapped to LED's. jdm astar from Amazon. $10 for 10 "bulbs"
Here's a pic of the new look:IMG_5007.jpgsuch an improvement in lighting. Wish I'd done it sooner. Will swap the footwell bulbs and maybe the vanities (I don't use those).

Also got the @salex OCD console organizer. Thanks fellas for a great product.

It's so easy even I can do it. Definitely worth $30.

Next up 30" auxbeam cree 5d lightbar install above the license plate.
I'll mount it then have a local "stereo shop" run and connect wires. Anything Electrical I might as well use my feet. Rather have a cleaner install/ look.

So magnet wouldnt hold thru pocket holster? Also, maybe I missed it, but why do you sign everything with "Pro"?

That's a neat setup, but in a car accident your firearm will be a projectile...

I considered the same solution but didn't for the reasons already mentioned here. If you are in an accident or even have to brake aggressively there is a chance that the firearm will slip off the magnet. Couple that with the fact that the trigger isn't protected and you are increasing the chance of an accidental discharge. Even with Glock's Safe Action mechanism an accidental discharge is possible without trigger protection.

    Be safe out there.

it's not the gun but the owner. Guns don't discharge on their own .Poor trigger discipline is the cause.

Glock have 3 passive safeties. The only way to "accidentally discharge" is to put your finger on the trigger and press it.
They are also the most sold gun in the U.S. I suggest people take training classes when they buy a new gun and never shot before.

I would have no problem whatsoever with the magnet under a desk, on a wall, or in any other place incapable of doing 90 MPH down the road.

Probably the reason there are more Glock ADs is because they are so common. I carry two different pistols daily, both CZs, both decocker models. I carry them without safety and with the hammer down, but I also protect my trigger in a holster.
