Yup, Powder is right. Needs to be moved up a tad. Black wheels would definitely help too. Try telling the wife you need new wheels and lift because your current wheels don't go with the sticker. ;)

Adam, in this picture, what's the Rough Country logo that's running where the new lightbar is? Is that a cover for it?

Also, was the NFab a good easy fit? Considering doing one myself but can't do any fab work myself if it isn't a direct fit lol

What you see are actually 4 10" covers that snap into place. As far as the install goes, getting the original bumper off took twice as long as installing the new one (the bumper mount bolts are a pain to access and wrench on). The NFab is a direct fit and very straight forward. Took a friend and I roughly 2.5 hours for everything start to finish.

Good to know, thanks. Were they included or separate add on when you purchased the light? Looks incredible!

IMG_0438.jpg Banks monster exhaust added after her trip to the dealer for an oil change. Sounds nice reminds me of my 2011 2ss camaro. Def feel a lil more power with the air intake and now the exhaust. Taking it to my welder to have it all done to get rid of the stupid clamps.

Thanks man! I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Spending that kind of money sight unseen is a bit nerve racking. The covers are included with the X5 versions.

I love it.... so I have questions..

Did you lose your fog lights or are they hiding in there somewhere? Did the black caps/covers on each end of the bumper come included? Would you mind taking a front shot of the whole truck?

ESP mod today. Changed up the install a little. Instead of marking the carpet with a crayon I put down masking tape and drew the line with a pen to make the cut more precise because the friction is all that holds it in. I also ditched the recommended linoleum knife in favor of a fully extended box cutter. The knife wanted to tear the foam where the more narrow and sharper box cutter made a cleaner and easier cut.

Will be cutting out the full length Husky's to fit it tomorrow.

Yes the side panels came with the bumper. The fog lights are gone, for now. My plan is to retrofit some 2" square fogs into the side panels utilizing the factory wiring and switch if possible. I'll take some pics of the front for you later, just dropped off the truck to have the new rims put on.

Sorry. On my way to work New Year's Eve morning. Lady blew a red light and slammed into me. Almost rolled me, had me on 2 wheels. Of course no witnesses at 5 in the morning. She lied, told the cops I ran the red light. Turns into he said, she said. In the end nobody was hurt. Paid my deductible. All done!

That sucks, I had someone hit my last truck in a parking lot. He hung around and apologized but in Ontario we have no fault insurance. Didn't have to pay my deductible but when I traded the truck, I took a hit on the value because it there had been an insurance claim filed.

I bought a take off skid plate from a 2017 Tundra Pro. It was missing some of the parts, so I ordered a hardware installation kit from Roman at Cool Springs Toyota. Those two back bolts were not blossomed until I installed the skid plate and torqued it to spec from the instructions. There are also angled 'squarish' washers for each side that help the bolts tighten squarely where the nut tightens against the frame because the frame is angled and these washers compensate for that. I understand it is not unusual for the sleeves to mushroom on the end like yours is. Here is a copy of the installation instructions if that would help...

Just added a rigid grille, SPOD, and switch assembly. Came out super clean, I was able to ditch over half the wiring harnesses that came with the lighting.

Oh and I forgot to add my favorite part of the mod, but not her favorite part

Sick mod and super clean. Always wondered how the wiring from the switch plate gets hidden to the A pillar. Do you fish it from the overhead console to the pillar, unhook the front of the headliner, or can the harness be pushed under the front lip of the liner without detaching it?

It's only 3 screws to get the headliner loose enough to tuck the wire, almost too simple. It's the 3 screws holding up the visor. 2 on the left on one on the right. You can see them right now when you get into your truck.

Most excellent!!!! Could never figure this out when folks talked about tucking it under. Thanks man! And gotta ask. Where'd you pick up the "accessory switch." That's pure gold.

You can buy the switches over at OTRATTW.com
They have tons to choose from

He can make any text you want, combine with any of the image icons, they pop in and out really easy so you can switch em around anytime you want

Also if you get the SPOD they have instructions that pretty much walk you through the whole process
